Only these 3 dramas have proper relationship plot with female lead. In king’s avatar, glory of special forces, lost tomb no loveplot at all. Whirlwind girl is more like a youth sports drama, with almost zero romance. But scripts in all these dramas are soo good and all his characters are not typical cold male god kind. If YY choose romance, he will never go for cliche tropes , so we can always expect good stories from him. But he doesn’t repeat co-stars usually, so rare chance for a second collab.

Yehua voice was YYs original. Only in kings avatar and in this voice is dubbed. Same producer.. same preference. I seriously felt like watching someone else not YY, cuz of voice. I love his original voice so much. But I must it’s better here than in king’s avatar.

Not sure of your perspective.. but if YY can’t act then 60% of Chinese shows are just modelling! Again, it’s about personal taste, just like how I couldn’t take TOOL and dropped it after 5 episodes but many liked it. You need not rant it on social media cuz we don’t do it. You can simply watch your type of actors and dramas 😊. But I must say this is one of the rare high quality dramas.. with amazing storytelling and plotline, it’s not made just for the sake of it.. like many C-dramas are made even if you can’t accept the fact.

I’m not a esports fan or a gamer but what made me kept going other than cute and funny yangyang(ye xiu) was its friendship and wonderful CGI!! The battle scenes felt like real action scenes on my TV screen, it’s very eye catching. This one is a proper esports drama unlike the rest which are famous cuz of their romantic storyline. I watched many esports dramas before like go go squid (2parts) , falling into your smile, crossfire all these had love storyline which made me skip few game parts, only kings avatar kept my attention to gaming parts so much. And the screenplay of this drama is awesome 🤩 it’s one of the best I have seen, so basically it’s a high quality drama 👌 though there are few unreal and fantasy elements, its fine cuz they just followed the original novel plot and storyline. For me, its the best esports one in C-drama
