Title Pyramid Game Spoiler
After the recent episodes, this is beyond what i've expected. I started to like it because of the psychological thriller aspect of it but dang, it's more than that. There's a bigger picture of it and that is, it tackles a lot of actual issues (although we've seen this already in the first few episodes but it became more noticeable as further episodes were released)

I also want to commend the pacing because the characters weren't pressured to become one, they still happened to betray and lie to each other but eventually learned and realized that for the game to end, they don't have to conform to Harin's game and they have to stick with each other.

Lastly, no matter what Harin experienced in the past in relation to Jaeun, whether she (Jaeun) did something to her when they were kids or something Harin realized about Jaeun, it shouldn't justify her current actions. She deserves to be put in place, whatever it is.

I feel like i found another gem. Although this is getting the recognition that it deserves but i feel like it should have more. I honestly love everything about this drama and i could relate to some instances but the best part of this is Ahjung (the FL). She is a character that is well-written and well-portrayed by Jongseo (the actress). "The logic of life is that you can't always be happy" I like this line so much.

P.S. So far, along with Pyramid Game, this is a drama that i wanted to finish or watch until the end.

But what??? People think suji isn't smart? Like girl is freaking GENIUS for figuring out everything with all odds…
unfortunately, yes. i've seen a few with those comments but anyway, we all can see how she managed to survive with those kind of people around her and for us, that's what made her smart.

Title Pyramid Game
I wanna talk about a lot of things about this drama so bear with me.
Where do i begin?
(1) The FL (Suji), props for Bona, she nailed this character along with others. Some new faces but majority, i'm very familiar of. Jaeun (Dain/18 Again), Harin (Da-ah/Wonyoung's sis), Doah (Seulki/Single's Inferno). Most of them didn't have much experience yet but did really a good job in portraying their characters. In fact, it was a debut drama for Da-ah and Seulki.
(2) The game is simple. I love that it didn't have much details that you have to crack. Simply the name of the game itself, you already know how it works. Plus, the people behind it is enough to make you feel seated or excited and it definitely did.
(3) Suji might not be the smartest as what others (in the comment section here) deemed her to be but i love how she was able to pull the strings. Her approach is more realistic in a sense/natural and more humane.
(4) The dynamics? Tension? Chemistry? Everything is in this drama.
(5) As an old kpop fan, i'm very much familiar with what song Yerim performed and Harin is humming. It's "Magic" by Secret. Used to be one of my favorite kpop songs way back.

This deserves more recognition to be honest. No matter what the genre, I usually drop dramas because simply i wasn't thrilled. Like there should be "something" in every episode and that's what i felt here.

I feel like i'm not really suitable for these kind of dramas. Although it was realistic in a sense but i immediately dropped this as soon as i couldn't any longer find anything beyond as what i've expected it to be. Plot-wise, it wasn't giving something more so yeah. Regardless, it was a fun watch in the first few episodes and there were some memorable scenes.
On Ready, Set, Love Feb 20, 2024
I've been waiting for this and as soon as it came out, i was able to finish it in one sitting. It's amusing, sweet, and not over the top. Son (Blue) is an eye-candy and Day is adorable. Pretty much something that you should watch to kill your time. Although some points were lacking (e.g. the games, the justification of the story, etc.) and i wish it could've been a lot more episodes rather than 6 because that is way too short for a series.

Title Night Has Come Spoiler
I knew it from the very start. Dabeom screams Mafia, like in most cases, someone who's acting weak, dumb, and innocent turns out to be the worst. In short, manipulative. Same as Somi because she's very obvious about it. I feel a bit suspicious about Jungwon though. I don't think she's there just to be the FL's side friend or what. She's so smart and gives a hint of manipulation (like Dabeom) plus the fact that she's a loner and outcast might have something to do with Seeun? and then i'm also super interested with Junhee (a citizen based from Na Hee, a police) and Yoonseo (a citizen, shown from the first episode). Both (?) their efforts and teamwork might end the game, especially knowing Yoonseo has like special connection (somehow in a good way) with Seeun, the girl who died. She (Yoonseo) might be someone who protected her (the girl who died) but failed to do so? Or if not, Jungwon (cause in the first part, he smirked) and Seeun (turns out to be Jungwon) have something going on? and Yoonseo is the only one who can finish the game by exposing the truth? (They couldn't recall their memories right?)

I think the Kang family all know that it's a matter of time dad will find them and have realized they are on borrowed…
That's what I thought too. Glad that I finished the drama because no regrets, really. Thank you so much for giving me another point of view. Honestly, i was able to continue it because of you.

Title Castaway Diva Spoiler
(1) I'm glad that they didn't prolong the revelation of who Kiho is.
(2) The chemistry between Kiho and Mokha is priceless. I need more of their screen-time.
(3) To be honest, some filler scenes and situations that need to end like Ran Joo and her mom. I understand her essence in the plot but the writer shouldn't drag her story because this is not hers rather Mokha, Kiho, and Woohak.
(4) As much as I love Kiho but it felt stupid for him to go to the island and visit the friends or peers of his father. It's as if the purpose of the original plan went to nothing.
On Castaway Diva Nov 11, 2023
I thought this drama is going to be light and happy-go-lucky. You know, just comforting. I didn't expect that it would be heart-rending. I'm speechless with the first episode, the amount of pain that both of them went through. Regardless, i'm up for this drama because it's really interesting and now we're at trying to find out who Kiho is which there could be two reasons for it (1) either Bogeol is protecting Woohak from his past and that he is Kiho or (2) it happens that Woohak tried to save Bogeol from his father hence him, getting hurt but the truth is, Bogeol is Kiho but for me, the way Bogeol reacts to every situation involving Kiho, Woohak, or Mokha gave me the answer. The shoes, him in the filming industry, there's just a lot of hints.

istg there's just so many storylines for no reason at all. i hate to admit but FL and 2ML have crazy chemistry…
I hate it to admit it but after some more episodes, i swear that the connection of the FL and 2ML are overflowing.
On Strong Girl Nam Soon Nov 3, 2023
I'm honestly getting bored already with some of the scenes, just a lot of side stories that don't necessarily add to the plot. Regardless, i'm still up for the romance of the main characters. I just think it's more logical? and even if i prefer more the chemistry between FL and 2ML or the villain, plot-wise, it makes no sense for them to end up together knowing his real intention? I get it that he's attractive (like every time i see him, i get speechless) and his character is more interesting in a way but that's just it? I don't see a redemption arc for him? Anyway, i just wish that the storyline gets better and the connection of the FL and ML is more visible (and i think for that to happen, they really have to remove majority of the side stories)
I stopped halfway through this drama because there were just a lot of holes and things that didn't make sense to me but after seeing several scenes of the following episodes from Tiktok, I must admit that it was a wrong move to do so. Episodes 9 and 10 kept me on the edge of my seat. It was such a rollercoaster and it surprised me that Matthew revealed his real identity immediately cause in most cases, they really drag it until almost the end but in here, i'm glad that it happened because I can't wait for more things to happen, like how can he control them knowing they're already aware of his identity.
On Hold My Hand at Twilight Oct 24, 2023
I think I was able to start this drama as soon as the episodes were released and had eng subs. on it however, i wasn't able to continue it cause I got busy with my acads. Apparently, just few days ago, I began finding new dramas/series to watch and I happened to see this again. Definitely, the same feeling i felt when i watched it the first time. The characters were charming and the plot was amazing. Just disappointed about the last part because it could've been done better but overall, it was refreshing and pretty much realistic in a sense.

I want to leave this quote "Don't remember the days, remember the moments"

Title Doona! Spoiler
this is more of a web drama to me rather than the usual k-drama. the pacing, the direction, the storyline, etc. obviously, there are things that are lacking but i definitely enjoyed this drama. realistic in a sense? on the contrary, the ending ruined it though (i'm aware that it's the beginning of the ep. 9 but like that's it? felt rushed tbh). i also didn't like how most of the scenes are about her, smoking. yes there is a reason for it but there are a lot of other things that can be emphasize/d aside from it.

but yeah overall, all the characters are amazing. the chemistry and acting, i absolutely love it.
On Blossom with Love Oct 18, 2023
Feels like 19/20 all over again but mid or average? The participants are interesting but i think the flow of the show felt a bit dead and could've been better? Like there were some instances that it's just too plain? Also, i'm not expecting anymore to have real couples because based from their backgrounds, i just think that it's too risky to take. The girls though, they have such nice chemistry but overall, i couldn't feel any attachment from the pairs yet. Perhaps, it's too early to tell? Uhmm yep, that's it. I just hope they had fun on this shooting and was able to realize a lot of things from their experience/s on the show.
On As Long as We Both Shall Live Oct 12, 2023
My heart's so full after watching this movie. The chemistry is overflowing and the acting is great. The visuals? Top-tier. I haven't watched the anime yet maybe that's why but like what others have mentioned, i also believe that it should be a drama or series. Like, i wanted more.
P.S. I'm aware about the last part after the end credits so perhaps, there is part 2? But if that is also the case, they should've made it as series right? Regardless, it was a good movie and i can say one of my favorites as well.

Honestly, Syaon's obsession with Do Ha is pissing me out. The fact that she even uses his trauma, to manipulate him and all that. She's crazy. Likewise the ex-girlfriend. It must've been a nightmare for him. As much as I don't want to invalidate the struggles of Syaon and his ex-girlfriend but it's just too much. That's not even "love" anymore.

Can't wait to watch the next episodes cause the ending kept me on the edge of my seat. I need to know the truth.
