Xian yu director is good,he was one of the director of Story of Yanxi Place,and his drama the sword and the brocade was well received in China. The only downside he wasn’t so experience in xianxia drama,but i will hold my judgement until Xian yu air. And cgi depend on the budget and platform rather than the director,hope they have enough budget for xian yu. For eat,run and love,the director is not bad,he had experience in romcom,so he know his stuff,and though his dramas weren’t a big hits,but usually did quite well. the producers seem like now one,but new doesn’t mean bad, and i can’t say the casts aren’t good because i never see their dramas . LaP casts also relatively new actors,but all did well in their respective roles,and the ip also not so popular,worst was Li xun also hate by many readers since he’s consider as red flaf

Tbh I never expected for xian yu to air this year,this is xianxia and need lots of vfx,and that usually take around one year to finish

They were pulling this tactic since The Long Ballad,now they are trying the same thing for LBTG,since Feiyu around similar age with Wulei

As you said you didn’t go to facebook page,and as someone who read the comments on facebook and twitter,actually many said they don’t want to watch his other dramas because they think his chemistry with jingyi can be top of,and they can’t move on from L&P. I don’t care if they want to stay with L&P forever,but why comment under his other drama,like they are actually insecure,since many ppl actualy waiting for feiyu dramas with dafei and yinglu. So i think when you were joking like that,some were mistaken you to be one of that toxic shippers,while you actually not.

You are mention you are joking,i know this,and you also said here you have several actresses you want to pair with. But i hope you be more careful if joking about ‘yuyi’ in the future.,especially under feiyu other drama comment section. Many feiyu fans are sensitive with shippers because they caused so many harm to him in the past,they didn’t want to see him with other actresses and attacking his other project,since they only shippers not true fans.

He probably will co direct lbtg with Qin Zhen like lyf,but i doubt they will replace her,since it’s already announced on the conference

If you really read the novel,this one hardly categorized as xianxia,more like mixed between xuanhuan,political and military,with a bit of wuxia,so different genre and chongzi. If this screenwriter also worked with other two screenwriters in that all mystery dramas,so i think she’s very used to work in group. And i think there no use to worry for something that we can’t control, I prefer to hold my opinion about all dramas until they aired,because we never know what happened behind the scenes

It’s true that chongzi was a disaster,but she also had good works before that,so i don’t think it’s fair to judge her only based from one drama,while her other works were good. And she can’t entirely blamed for chongzi,from what i heard the directing and acting from the lead actress also terrible,so i guess it’s not entirely the screenwriter fault.

Many other actors and actresses actually jump to one project to another with only little or no time to rest in between,so why Feiyu can’t do it lol. He actually already contacted about this project since Dec last year,so if he really accepted it,he may already studied the character,and who knows he already preparing during his free time. But as i said,let’s wait for announcement on 24th June to know if he really in this drama.

Yeah,i saw in some dramas recently ppl like second cp more then the main one,but as long as xian yu main cp has strong chemistry and most screentime,i guess this won’t be the case. I think the fl is pretty and unique,hope ppl will change their opinion when Xian yu airing. Maybe ppl think she doesn’t has a look of an ancient beauty? Her beauty is kinda modern imo,but Ting Yan transmigrated from modern world,so she actually suit this role

I read the novel but hasn’t finish,i love it,but i feel this novel can’t adapted as it is,it has to expand a lot for the drama otherwise will be boring. The team decided to add second cp for the drama,i’m okay as long as they still focus on the main cp,and Hei Nian Qi actually Sima Jiao pet snake,he become human earlier for the drama,and paired him with Hong Luo. I don’t get it why ppl on weibo didn’t really like the fl,i think she is pretty and suitable for Ting Yan
