I saw someone compare Unforgotten night and KP, in my opinion is just unfair. KP should be one of the best series not just in BL but ever made. Everything about the series is so captivating, the locations, acting, script , props and wardrobe, editing.... scenes that stay in your mind. Like I remember the bathroom scene with Porche and the lighter was so impactful, was only couple of seconds but everyone was talking about it. The acting of every cast memeber is so fluid, easily believable and the amount of detail that they've added helps build up the characters actions/expressions/feelings, it allow us to try and think and analyse them deeper. Some of the amazing essays that we read over here are inspired by the show because it give us food for thought. The show is so popular, people create so much drama every week, I've litterly never seen it happening before. IDK maybe it's just me who sees it that way but this masterpiece should be studied in cinema schools, because people need to learn how to make series/movies that are this brilliant.
So many people are wondering why Vegas is loved despite what we know about him -- I have a question for you. Why…
People need to chill. Movies/books those are fantasy wolrds where we are just enjoing stories and characters not a real things, it allow us to believe that love wins all, good always wins, everyone gets justice. Everyone loves Vegas not bc he pulls out teeth and electrecutes and whips Pete, but because a little bit of love and understanding opened his sensitive sweet side and he has been very cute with his pursuit with Pete with bandaging him up, cooking(idk if you guys saw how when he saw Pete and Kinn running twards him and Porsche he immedietly made worried face and removed his finger from the trigger). Vegas character is made in a way that we see his growth, him being remorsfull, learning love and patience, that's why fans really love this arc it's the ultimate 'true love can beat any challenge and turn a persons life around'. All humans love to believe in beautiful stories and entertainment allows us to dream and live it out in a way. If the haters don't see it that way it's sad but hey our opinions are just as valid as theirs and we don't have to agree. Liking something or not is a personal choice and if our choice to like Vegas doesn't affect them righteous people personally in any shape or form they should stop trying to shove their point of view as a facts in our faces, just go and watch something elese.
luckily for him the absolute angel Chay said he likes both sides
Now that the show showed more of their story and characters, they are my second favorite couple. I really hope if we are blessed enough to get season2 to see more development from both - more of mafia Kim and sassy Chay( love that special chapter where Chay is dragging Kim by the ear saying ''In the corner! FACE THE GODDAM.N WALL!'' wold be so nice to see it on screen one day).
DO YOU THINK YOU WILL CRY AT THE END OF EPISODE 14?????
ofc it's like an end of an era it's been couple of weeks with series but I'm so invested feels like my whole life I've known these characters and followed their stories, honestly I really do hope they officially announce season 2 even if it's for 2024 or later
kp episode 13 analysis:first, let us talk about vegaspete. i honestly think that their storyline is kind of rushed.…
With the question why does Vegas likes Pete in my opinion Vegas actually was attracted to Pete all along with the looks from ep 1, the shoulder touching, he really didn't have to flirt to tease a bodyguard that is bad at spying. When the bodyguards from main family were working with Vegas and he was torturing that random guy, there was a mini second where Vegas looks at everyone being disgusted and then throws a quick look at Pete who really wasn't that bothered. I think that plus the fact that once Pete was caught he didnt dispaly any fear from being beaten and electrecuted increased his intrest twards Pete, he probably thought there was some potential Pete might like the same stuff. I mean when he was torturing others Vegas was pulling teeth and what not but with Pete he was over there touching up the jewels, giving neck kisses, taking him on getaway to hang out. That scene where he ended up whipping Pete with the belt I thought that once he saw Pete cower back Vegas looked kinda dissapointed like he was expecting diffrent reaction and thats why he was just like 'You're not fun.' and walked away. If he didn't alredy liked Pete he wouldn't care that he got sick due to inflamation to personally take care of him and feeding him medicine with kiss. Every action so far shows he was trying to seduce Pete in his wierd way. I think that after the talk and having someone seing him vulnerable actually made the bond more then just sexual attraction even though he doesn't fully realise it. That's at least how I interpret it throw my view.
Yeah it is similar just that it looks more of modern look, he had somethig simmilar on when they were taking Thankun clubbing back in ep 3, idk I think the man hoops look good on him
Finally going to bed after the longest day aaaand still caught up on hubby Vegas and his English 'Do you know…
that scene was so sweet tho, Pete pushing him off his shoulder when Vegas joked he is a fool the looks Vegas was giving him, them holding hands.... even only first 2 min of this ep was worth waiting for a week
Yeah when we see Vegas with Pete he actually is capable of being gentle and caring and then his dad totally ruined it all with his presence. The dad's hatred has been poisoning the kids their whole life.
Got to give it to their stylist/Set Costumer he is doing some magic.... sertain looks on the actors gonna live in mind for eternity - Pete style in the club was quite nice too
Yeah this time he didn't even had actual reason to hit him or throw the plate, he sends him in the house to hide but constantly visits to slap him around isn't him going there gonna compromise his location? Easily one of most hated characters
us fans have waited all this time for these scenes, everything was beautifully acted out and so captivating, I just love their whole arc and I like how BOC reimagined it.
