I'm not saying he's not popular, he's so popular and in fact he is so well loved in China. All his works ALWAYS get praised. He's that talented! The hates that he receives mostly from Rb hardcore fans, they keep on harrased him, sending him death threats and spreading false rumor about him. Just go on yt and see all the videos about Vengo "rumored gfs/wifes" and you can see how Rb fans camping there and sending so much hate to him. Its just the way Vengo never mention Rb name at all after Pillow Book, that speak volume lol he probably growing tired with all the hate he receives from her fans. It sucks tbh! Vengo seriously deserves better! Actually this drama was rated higher in China. It's always on top 3 ranking among the most popular military drama. That's why i think the rating in MDL site are a whole scam, its all either fans or haters doing, fans and haters labour lol the rating here doesn't reflect the popularity of this drama in China at all

I think it was just a speculation from fans cos the director mentioning a season 2 or sumn on his media social but still lets pray and hope it will happen soon finger crossed 🤞

Weiguang has so many haters particularly from Reba and Yang2 shippers/fans I'm pretty sure it was all their doing hence why this drama has low rating
