Ah..you all don't even know,that when the scene the fight between Lin Zhixiao & her father happen in episode 1 I can't help but also crying because that scene bring back my memories & I remember some of the fight or arguing between me & my father especially the highlight "you are my family but you don't even understand me" is the same feel & words that what I have had think & say to my late father before. But past is just the past & now he already rest in peace & I just want to move on & just focus remember his other good side & good memories that I still have with him before in my mind

I think what make us confused about the status of their relationship is because of the drama summary. It say ex-girlfriend in the summary but I don't think that is qhen we saw the drama it self.

Well.. Maybe we comes from different cultures.. I can bet this is common in Asia typical father.. At least that's what I always found around me or have been seen or read around Asian people sharing about their father. Even me also have been experienced the same. Being beaten by his Belt, shouted or bring to a dark outside until I stop my crying when I don't focus & feel sleepy when I study in the night during my elementary school. Been stop with the hard & harsh way to educate me after 3th grade of elementary school. But has been shouted & slap in the head in high school just because I got home late without informed them (when it's just still 9 o'clock in the night & that time around the end of 90s decade I still dont have a handphone). So yeah...we can't generally all father all the same in different country & different cultures. Maybe that's why I been feel more related to Lin Zhixiao story in this drama

Same.. My late father is alao very strict & so conservative that sometimes very outdated for me & for other younger generation mind I think. But he still so hard so stubborn too.. That's why I can understand that the father character like this exist in this drama,it's still understandable

Banyak hal yg saya suka dari drama ini. Pertama kali tahu drama ini malah dari OST nya yg dinyanyikan Xiao Zhan & Yang Zi live diTencent Night & saya langsung suka OSTnya itu. Terus stlh mulai nonton trailer & 2 episode awalnya saya langsung suka dgn genre & thema nya yg membumi. Cerita & konfliknya sangat mendekati realita disekitar kita. Ditambah akting yg ciamik & chemistry yg sweet dari Xiao Zhan & Yang Zi membuat saya meleleh & tambah suka dgn drama ini. Apalagi bonus ekstra ditiap akhir episode yg berupa dialog Gu Wei & Lin Zhixiao..uwu..itu manis sekali.. This is such a must watch drama for me

That's so low of them think that doing this (mass downvote) can make them or their fave better than this drama or Xiao Zhan. That's a broke or mess in mind & their mentality. They didn't have big heart & supportive mentality who can only be so easily shaking by outer factor like other actor like Xiao Zhan & his successful drama. So shame & I pity them

I like this drama, it has completed package from humor to sad story, romance to family matters, have very beautiful OST, great acting & chemistry & many more.. Even if it's still just few episode that has been aired but still it's already peak many people interest. Even CNN Indonesia made 2 article 2 days in a rows about this drama.. This is the power of this story (with some beautiful message that we can reflect to our life) & all the whole complete package quality of this drama
