Excellent chemistry between our Main Leads but the ending felt kind of rushed. Many things were left unanswered 1. What happens to bi zhi now that his wife is not there to tell him what to do. He was shown as a kind of beast who has no brain of his own and will do whatever his wife says. Honestly i don't think this as a positive aspect like bro was so powerful, he could have killed lord of Linagya if he had some brain of his own. Like he was a fighter but the other Damn builder official wasn't even a fighter yet he tried to Kill Lord of liangya anyways. Bi Zhi had the opportunity to kill him when they made him kill Wei Liang but he didn't because nobody told him that he can do that as well. 2. The Qiao clan deceived the Wei clan twice. First the Grandfather then the uncle. Who'll manage the qiao clan now. The other uncle is blind now. A Ci is very young.
For future watchers: Synopsis are a bit misleading. What's written in the synopsis is the side story. Main story is about the Princess Royal and her character growth and how she handled all the palace politics. Zhang Linghe is there but he isn't the Main part of the story. He's just there to support his Princess Royal. Personally i came here after The Story of Kunning Palace to watch more of Zhang Linghe but was disappointed.
I think it's one of those dramas that if you love it , You love it♥️😍🙌 and if you don't feel the vibe in first ep then move on this drama is simply not for you.
If you are in for a great story line with superb dialogues and acting ,this drama is for you. Romance is there but it mainly starts from ep 30. Doesn't mean previous ep don't have romance but it's enemies turned lovers kind of storyline.

Idk why some people are deliberately IGNORING the first line of my comment. It's clearly for those people who aren't interested in those business talks and are just their for main leads' scenes. Obviously for people who are interested in the story and the characters wouldn't find starting ep boring. But my comments is NOT FOR THOSE PEOPLE.
And as for my ratings, i rate a drama according to my criteria, not that i owe anyone an explanation but still 7.5= good 8= very good 9=above excellent. Now it depends on me whether i find the drama good or bad and how much I want to rate the drama. You want to rate it a 10...sure it's your choice, but if i want to rate a drama 7.5, it's my choice how i calculate my ratings 😊

I didn't know when there flirting + long business talks ended and when original love (dating) began, that's why i had to made myself watch the whole drama. Why did he commit suicide when he just met sol and if he really committed suicide why did they show that bell ringing scene?
