it was just a misunderstanding. the grandpa didn’t tell the son that kai doesn’t have anyone else and anywhere else to go. so the son assume that kai can just go and leave now without need to take care of the grandpa.

lol, I watched almost all jp bl even the one from the 90s and I still compared them to kieta hatsukoi. I'm talking about their couple dynamics. also most people probably won't know what I'm saying if I compared it to underrated bl like docchi mou docchi (just for example)
