Calling people freak if they like this story is kinda out of the line… I know you are well aware that this is a movie which is a form of art... And art by the way can be seen in so many different ways… I would agree to you if I am seeing this story in a realism art way… but not all people will look at it this way… some people may look at this through feelings, symbols, hidden deeper meanings.. you cannot discount that… Yes you can rate this as 1 but don’t call others who see it differently as freak, you just don’t have the same level of art appreciation… :)
You are not alone I also don’t get it why others love this so much. I get it that there are good things about this series but it is not great at all. A lot of dragging scenes. I think i could appreciate this more if it was compressed into a movie rather than a series. I also don’t like the acting timing and responses from the two main cast. They lack the connection.
I think your rating to the story and music is too low. The story was good, it is just not portrayed well by the actors. I would give credit also the music as it is the only thing holding me in the mood as the actors can’t do it. I would give both an 8.
