From I can't stand his family's dynamic (passive aggressiveness) on the 3 first eps to being surprised by him and his "friend" wearing masks (it made me laugh)....... Can't wait to know the backstory of his brother suicide and a question, why is Eui Gyeom suicidal? Is it because of the expectations that are set by his fam and the stress they are putting him through?.....from my pov it feels like his father Is the main cause, is there more to it?
Are the movies in the rec related to it.....it seems they have the same form snd color of the title.....I've watched"The Thieves" before but not the other two....
Who is that editor? Why does she have the same face as Ae-sun’s mother?
The editor I guess is the daughter of the couple who were being interviewed in the flower field, where Gwan-sik proposed with a ring to Ae-sun and she refused…… and to why she have the same face as Ae-sun’s mother I don’t really know….maybe to remind us that her mother is watching her from above (it’s my own conclusion since when she was crying reading Ae-sun’s story/poems she said “I’m proud of her”)
just finished it and I can’t with the last ep 😭😭😭😭😭😭 the daughter’s success, the father’s death, the mother’s first published book, and the editor looking the same as Ae-Sun’s mother was the cherry on top….like I bawled my eyes out😭😭….. this one is my fav at the moment…just recalling any scene of it makes me cry 😭😭😭😭✨
It has reminded me of "No mercy" a k-movie......the last episode with the confrontation of the son's chairman and finally grieving made it an 8 for me..... didn't expect this much gore in it but it was THE perfect amount I like!
That was some great acting..... Park Hae Soo really delivered with this one... When the scene of him in prison was shown, I thought about "prison playbook" and I had to pause for a min because WOW.... As well as Yanbin Character seeing him here surprised me ....I actually didn't like Shin Min Ah acting here it just reminded me of her in "Our blues" and it didn't satisfy me (until to the scene where she was smacking the heck out of the witness).....Overall the story was amazing, hard to predict/ Acting phenomenal, well displayed roles/ and the ending was pretty decent kind of expected (could have been better).....
I'm on ep 3 and it's really boring and slow but I'll give it another 2 eps before I drop...
I felt the same when I started it back in 2020...so I dropped it after the 2nd Ep.... It's been two days since I tried to watch it again and I kid u not I've watched each episode back to back and now I'm at the 12th (stopped because Weak hero class 2 is out).....probably I'll finish it by tomorrow!
The way this drama displayed "How people can you get the evilness and selfishness out of humans" is art.... I just can't get the scene where Andrew stabbed the police officer with the help of all tenants (until to the lawyer's wife and the writer lady), and when Sae-Bom and Yi-hyun came to there apt, the look the tenants gave'em was pure evil (I just can't get it out of my mind, the actors did a GREAT job)..... Also the greed, superiority, betrayals and many more things that this show displayed we're just amazingly portrayed..... Everybody was serving!!
I just rewatched the whole show in the last 3 days, and the emotional rollercoaster I've felt during is unexplainable.... Patiently waiting for S3, I'm excited to know what Jun-ho's 394 days left will be without Ho-yeol and Beom-gu next to him....
Overall a 9/10
