This is literally so good!

I was hesitant at first to watch it cause of the low budget and thought this was just another short poor production bl but I have never been so happy to be proven wrong. Despite the low production, it did so well with the acting and story and also the filming. It tells the story so easily and perfectly. The actors are extraordinary and do justice to their characters. The music was also so good. This is really cute and well done and did the best it could with what it had. I am so mad at myself for not picking it earlier and judging it for its poor production. Literally the best korean bl series and the fact that it is build on its own and had no webtoon or novel to back it up its just amazing.

Imperfect perfect couple

Its tells how imperfect, what we thought was a perfect couple. Which is realistic i guess, since there is no such thing as perfection. I would say Teh, didn't really cheat since he did all that for a play and didn't really cheat but he did hide it from Oh-aew, which was very bad. I think its normal to have feelings for other people despite being in a relationship but its only bad if you act on it, which teh technically didn't. I don't know, kinda a grey situation but I would like to look at the brighter side and think that they got back together for the better not for worse cause Teh is still deeply in love with Oh-aew and I think nothing can change that.

Wasted potential

This started great tbh. The premise was nice. The old enemies to friend to lovers trope. The acting was great, ost was great and chemistry between the leads was also great. So why does this has such a low rating. The pacing, story and logic is all over the place. First, this series is so slow, I for one like it better because I watched it late and could watch it all at once but to be one of those people that had to wait for a new episode every week, I would have seriously dropped it. The problem that existed in the first episode became a problem till the last episode. They drag the problem of the main lead for too long. They made them become a couple till the last fucking episode and they thought that they could make up with us with a sex scene lol. I am thirst but not that thirsty to turned a blind eye to ridiculousness. Now the logic with this series or actually main lead makes no fucking sense. So there is rule that there should be no office romance. Stress on the OFFICE pls cause this mf thought that he has the right to ban an romance, doesn't matter if the person they are dating is an employee or not. The lead thinks that he can make them single forever lol logic where? Also the thing that I fucking hated the most was that they did not made the main leads a couple at the end of the episode but they also had the fucking audacity to make Yu Zhen and his ex have more chemistry and couple scenes than Shi lei do in the entire series. This was my breaking point of actually thinking positive about this series. But despite the terrible story and plot pacing. It did manage to make me entertained, laugh and smile at the main leads chemistry. But ehh, another series ruined by terrible pacing. The only reason the rewatch value is high since the main leads chemistry is cute and there were a lot of shirtless scenes and the everyone is attractive.

If consent was a Bl series this would be it

This series is really a feels-good series. The story is good, talks about how it really is in the bl industry. The characters are all spectacular Gene is a cute, shy and fisty lead and Nubsib is sly, mischief and pretty possessive when it comes to Gene. Watching these characters seem like watching a fox chasing a rabbit lol. And the actors did their characters justice with their spectacular acting. They did well with the age gap by making Gene love Nubsib after he was an adult and not making him knew what he was at first. But at the same time, I did feel like it felt too dramatic for nothing at all. Like when Gene was mad at Nubsib for lying about who he was and I like get it but to move out and crying his eyes out was a bit too much. But its good anyways. Also the way they stress on consent in this series is so damn good. No romanticizing accidental or forced kissing. I liked it so much when Nubsib asked for consent everytime he wanted to do something. The Music is also good. Like I said this is feels good drama since there are many cute moments, so I always watch this series again and again when I get bored or need to smile a bit.

THE BEST KBL EVER

I am not exaggerating when I say this is THE BEST KBL ever produced. I am actually appalled at quality,run time and no of episodes. For years and years I have kept asking for KBLs to have good budget,run time and episodes and my dream has finally been accomplished. The plot is so good and refreshing. Most of the time or almost all of the time,we are given two pairing and the universe will make them work out together. But here the main character is going from one person to another in search of his eternal love. You wouldn't know who it is cause every one he dates seems like it would be the one. Which makes sense irl too. I loved this concept. The acting is off the charts too. The main lead is an exception actor. He managed to have a good chemistry with every guy he was paired with. I am actually amazed. That I had to stand up and give a standing ovation. The series didn't dragged even though it had a fair amount of run time and episodes. And the kisses and r-rated scenes was top notch. It was sexy and hot. KBL says GOODBYES to dead fish kisses. Damn i could go on and on about this series and I would never run out of praises. A bijilion out of 10. Literally perfection!

Spicy but lacked taste

This KBL had an interesting plot and had all the things to make it a good series but it lack certain elements to make it good. First of all, the acting. Gawd that was the most awful acting that I have seen in a while. Ja Woon needs to stop serving face and serve acting lessons first. He literally had the same expression on his face the entire series that it was starting to become funny and the dialog delivery was just as awful. It was so obviously when it was time for an emotional scene. It made me uncomfortable rather than sad. Next, the plot. This series had a interesting premise imo. But the execution was so awful. Especially in the last few episodes. Because tell how does it make sense for Sae Byeok to just put these 'secrete letters' that ruin their relation in the first place to put it out in the open. Mind you this has happened two times. Also the force angst of the main characters. Tell me what will Ha Neul achieve by self isolating himself. He wasn't even threatened or had any misunderstandings. He just did that for shits and giggles. The stalker wasn't even out mind you. She was in jail. So yeah they could have gone about it in a better way. Now the chemistry was good. I like the NC scenes. I am always happy to see good kisses and not kisses where it seems like two dead fishes are making out. So yeah. Ultimately, I only stayed cuz of that. If not this would have gotten an even worse rating from me.

gawd ill be real with you, this series bored me out of my mind. Everything was lackluster from the plot to the acting. The time traveling plot made zero sense to me. I already hated it when he managed to go to the past and future easily. Basically there was no medium for this time travel, he managed to go back to the present cuz he ripped a drawing and then to the past when he drew again and then went back again when he interrupted a death? and supposed to accident was so stupid and anti climatic. bro literally wasn't paying attention to the road at all. He is stupid. Also the force villainization of the best friend for some reason?? made absolutely zero sense, why was U Jin treating his own friend like a gum stuck on his shoe? It literally came from no where. Now the acting, lacked alot of emotions. I expect that when you meet the love of your life again after he died it would be more emotional but he had the same face the entire time. Even the kiss was pretty meh by today standards. Didn't even see anything, was either too dark or too bright or was just a peck kiss. So meh from the beginning to the end.

Started from the bottom and we soar to the skies

This is what you call a blessing in disguise. Cause the first episode was not good at all but I am glad I stuck around. Cause it kept getting better and better. The plot was simple but well executed and cute. Both the characters were really likeable. Phumjai in the first episode was really annoying than cute but after the first episode he became so cute. Yang too was so cool and cute and expressed falling in love with his eyes. The other characters were not done so well but it was expected since there were too many and it had only few episodes with small run time but it still did quite well. The chemistry between the characters is not a joke. The actors did very well. The thirsty scenes as well as the cute scenes were done very well. I am so amazed and satisfied. A very enjoyable sweet and simple drama. Give it a try at least after the first episode. You won't regret it .

The best korean BL!

I actually liked this way way better than the first series. The production, acting, drama and everything was boosted by 10 times. I may be one of the few people that actually like this sequel. I understand the problems that they faced and the reasons for the problems. I understand why Ji Woo did all that. I loved the angst, the drama and the acting. This was way better than the first cause we saw more emotions from both Seo joon and Ji woo. I liked every part it of it. This like one of the few series that actually made me cry like a baby. The way when Ji woo begged Seo Joon to hugged just melted me and made my anger towards him disappear. The raw emotions when he was apologizing to Seo Joon for all the things he has done was just breath taking and took me out of this world. I really liked it. The music was also so much better here. I would say this is the best korean bl series for me. Korea could easily dominate the bl market if they wanted to.

Clique but left me on the edge of my seat?

This series made every clique in the book but somehow and by some magic made it not cringy but cute and interesting? like how? The plot is really simple but it manages to make the series interesting without making it boring, Popular boy like the unpopular boy. Where haven't we heard that amirite but it manages to make me fall in love with it. I like Watarai and Asahi's dynamic. They are so flipping cute. Watarai is such a loser when it comes to his crush and Asahi just let him do whatever he wants with him. I like that they don't drag the episodes. Watarai's intentions was already revealed to Asahi much earlier in the series than intended and not at the very last episode. Also I love that they were acting boyfriends the entire series. So even though we barely got time of them as an official couple we managed to get it unofficially, Finally I would like to comment on the kiss scene. At first they did a very mediocre peck kiss and I was like, ' ok, makes sense they are just high schoolers so obviously they wouldn't know how to kiss properly but then watarai went for another PROPER one and it made my mouth dropped on the floor and to seal the deal he went for a third one and with that it made me clear to me that this gotta be THE JBL of 2025.

Is it a translation error from where I watched or did Shane really said 'you are my best friend ' in the last line 😭😭😭like damn i was not expecting that. If it was really what he said then damn kinda brings the rating down a bit for me. I feel like this movie needs to be series cuz I am feeling like it is missing something. Welp anyways to the plot, damn I feel bad for Jonathan the most. He had the short end of the stick the entire movie. Shane was such a dick like gawd. May people like this never find me. He wants to have the cake and eat it too. So he thought that Jonathan and carrie were a thing but still went for her. That too the moment he thought they had broken up? And then when Jonathan is angry with him for knowing no boundaries,he crosses them anyways and then sleeps with him and then still calls him his friend in the end??? Bitch you never sleep with your friends no matter how drunk you are. Tbh he was so annoying to ME from an outsiders prospective. And finally Carrie,she is also kinda shitty but not as much as Shane for some of the similar reasons. I liked how this was shot tho and the acting. Feels like if there is a chance for a remake it will be so good.

it was cute buuuuut

damn those kiss scenes kinda ruined it. This is one of those series where a simple would have been 100x better than a kiss and 'sex' scene. Gawd, those scenes was so awful to watch. They were literally so awkward with it. It made it seem like they could fit another person between their lips. and that 'sex' scene. LMAO dont even get me started because wtf was that Mashiro was just hovering on top of Kanade not doing anything. Gawd, Japan really need a workshop on intimacy, kiss and sex and what not cuz I know they can deliver it. There are some good series that have good makeout scene. Like come on, its 2025 either do a proper kiss scene or sex scene or just don't do it AT ALL. It feels more homophobic to do it and be such a mess than to not do it. Gawd, I didn't mean to go into such a rant over that but it needed to be said. Next the plot is pretty simple imo. The first episode made it seem like I was in for a ride but that ride was just as scary as a rollercoaster ride in spongebob. The plot was so basic and plus they wanted to dive into more heartfelt and deep touching topics but they were kinda afraid so it made it just seem bleak and tasteless. The problems like Mashiro's mother being negligent and Kanade's dad homophobia was dealt off so easily that it lacked any dept. It is not easy to be a good mother so quickly and to unlearn homphobia that well. It takes time and lot of cut and stabing, but they didn't really dive into that and just made all those problems exist one day and disappear the other. But i get it time constraints what you gonna. Anyways, it ain't all that bad I guess if you ignore those awful kiss scenes. A mediocre plot with a pretty sweet ending, I guess.
