I am thinking this NY's Eve is the first TTJ has a sense of family --- of that noise and joy (and sometimes misery π) of being surrounded by your family and relatives during a special occasion. His Bo're showed his desire for acceptance from YXW, her family and a simple happy life with them. It also shows his regret at not being satisfied with that because of his original quest for power. He could have stayed but didn't. Now I am feeling sad again and I can't cry coz I'm still at the office. π€£π€£π€£

Yes he was pretending to be indifferent but happy to be joining the festivities with YXW. Grandma is so sweet to YXW. I just noticed YQY was so boyish with happiness when he got his hongbao. π Same feelings when Lang'an showed up.
