Moonies, it's gonna be hectic with the year-end/ New Year stuff coming, so I'll just post all the remaining Qs…
Day 29: For now, I'm excited for 2 2026 dramas:
1. How Dare You? coz I have seen the donghua and it was hilarious! Can't wait to see the live action shenanigans. Wang Churan and Cheng Lei also looked phenomenal in the BTS photos, trailer, and reuters. 2. Moli coz of the Bai Lu and Cheng Lei pairing. I saw their chemistry in Keep Running and was happy to hear about this collab. Edited to add: 3. Unveil: Jadewind - coz our boy WXY will finally Lulu haha! Well I hope they get their HE 4. Generation to Generation or whatever title they will change it to 5. I am sure I am forgetting others π€£π€£π€£

Day 28: The billing order!
In an NTRA actor training video, Bai Lu mentioned that the focus on billing order has caused her to miss opportunities to collaborate with actors she genuinely wanted to work with, due to disagreements over name placement. She said acting should be viewed as a team effort, rather than a competition for top billing. This billing system prioritizes an actor's perceived popularity and status over their suitability for a role, an issue she described as binding most celebrities in the Chinese entertainment industry. While understandable from a biz perspective, prioritizing billing is a bit of a shame in terms of artistic expression and collaboration. It is brave of her to speak out against a deeply entrenched system and the common practice of the agency she is under. Liu Yuning also spoke about it in his live recently, and he said that he is willing not to get 1st billing if it's a good project. Hat's off to Lulu and pak Liu! π«‘

Hmmm the xianxias and historicals I watched seemed like they had decent viewership so I'll go with a modern one - I am Nobody 2. It has good development and a more cinematic approach in the 2nd season. Still funny and action packed! π
I was anticipating The Legend of the Female General since seeing the filming reuters, but upon release, it didn't…
Good on you for making that rule! That'll keep your focus on school matters while still having some downtime with your chosen drama. Don't avoid MDL too much. Say hi to us here once in a while. π
Happy Boxing Day!Prisoner Of Beautyπ§ I enjoyed few episodes esp scenes with the voluptuous sidekick general…
It was obvious with Wei Liang coz they built up him up so much with the brotherhood and even his lil romance. Too bad really because he was so endearing amd deserved his HE.
The most disappointing drama I watched this year was actually a drama from last year and that's Red Moon Pact.…
Oh I know what you mean. Tried to watch that last year but like you said there was zero chemistry between the leads. The beautiful visuals weren't enough...

And yes this is a kind of number nonsense I like! π€ͺ
Oh fair warning, the actor who played Zhuge Qing in S1 was replaced in S2. This one miffed me a little coz he was perfect for the role.
Oh I just finished ep.1 of The Hot Spot. It is funny!π
How about you, Moonies?

TPOB was good except for that unnecessary part you mentioned. It was just to manipulate the audience to tears. π
