I was anticipating The Legend of the Female General since seeing the filming reuters, but upon release, it didn't hook me as I thought it would. I eventually dropped it... It’s not the show, it’s me (well, okay, it was a little bit the show) 🤣🤣🤣 There were a couple of others too.
Yep. Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, finally. 😅 not a fan of that ending. 😅
The ending was annoying coz the FL and ML were actually filmed in that same room at that time, but instead of showing a definitive HE, they kept it OE 🙄

Same with LYX in terms of being a good actress as BaiLu. They're both Lulus. 😁 I realized LYX will become my fave when I saw her in Love You Seven Times and it was cemented in My Journey to You. Glad she started having FL roles quickly. LITC made her beauty shine more.

I actually had to rack my brain for a purely sweet romance coz the ones I tend to watch are more on xianxia/historical side - and we know how bittersweet those are. 😂I watched Always Home by chance coz it kept popping up on my X feed and had great reviews. It's a really good pure youth drama.
Oh good you mentioned The Best Thing! I totally forgot about it. That one was sweet too - the 2nd modern cdramas I watched out of 2 this year. 😅😂

Haha and yes better late than never. LOTDT had bittersweet moments coz of all the xianxia shenanigans but the ending was definitely sweet! 🍬 Sulky Boy/Master-but- actually-a-Disciple SYS played by Wei2 looked extra gorgeous there! 🥰
