First off, The Blossoming Love is prolly one of the better xianxias in the past year with the acting, cast chemistry, and plot progression. The martial arts scenes are decent and the CGI is not bad. The ML and FL are head over heels for each other, but there is a SML who vies for FL's love, too. The novel is an HE and based on the drama logic so far, it should be an HE but this is a Youku production so don't know for sure about that. LOL!
Although MDL classifies this as Wuxia, it is more apt to call it a Xianxia. Hmmm maybe you can just get the gist of the ep31-34 by watching the beginning scenes then FF through the Xilin king, 3 demon clowns, TM 0.5 aka advisor, and ungrateful people scenes. There is really not much to gain from them. This arc just gives more backstory to the 2nd CP but do definitely watch the interactions between AZhu and ZM coz they are adorable.

ZM's conviction to protect humanity at the cost of his life is really unshakeable. In turn, A Zhu trying to protect him by using the Qiankun pearl and him doing a reverse uno on her just shows how much they love each other. If things went as planned, they would have made the greatest human emperor and empress.
ZM storming the Divine Realm and killing the evil Heavenly emperor was satisfying. It would have set things to right. Unfortunately, this hypocritical thing called TianMing messed everything up! Because of his obsession with CP and jealousy that she loves ZM, he decided to rewrite the Divine Child's fate. He even made false memories in ZM to make him believe that AZ betrayed him.
Like in the novel, ZM's last act of love and protection to humanity was to disperse his divine channels so that humans can finally start cultivating. He is basically their greatest benefactor but because of TM's selfishness in altering reality, he was cursed by people and suffered in the lava for 10,000 years.
A Zhu with her Chaos power storming the Divine Realm was a sight to see. I was yelling the whole time to kill them all! Excellent of her to point out how unworthy the Divine clan was of being "divine" and sending them to the Dark Abyss. Way to go!
Again, this hypocritical thing TM dares to comment that CP should remain pure and apart from human emotions like love and hate but he unknowingly shows all the negative traits like obsession, jealousy, covetousness, unrepentance, lack of self-awareness, etc. I could probably list more but I am getting really angry. I suppose MXL/CP is innately compassionate so she can't help feeling a little for TM when she saw him hurt but I wished she pushed away TM's hand. I do approve that she healed him. This is her final act of bond with him so that she doesn't owe him anything at all in this life or any life at all. Dissolve all bonds and walk away. Finito!

You are entitled to your own opinion but expecting to uncover the whole plot based on the first episode is quite unrealistic and would render the rest of the 39 episodes pointless. You even have so many questions that will all be answered as the series goes on. 😅 Don't force yourself to watch it if you dislike it from the get go though. ✌️
