It was cool to see all the realizations XXC had as he went back in time again and again. We get to see all the AHA! moments that were foreshadowed before. LOL at da gege but also sad coz he realized why MXL took the path she did so he wanted to severe that bond for her happiness. Haayz these two are killing me by how much they love and are willing to sacrifice for each other.

The wheel had been broken already if they follow the novel's logic. XXC's action of destroying his celestial eye to return the excess chaos energy to MXL is the key. This way everything is returned to how they should. MXL/CP gets all of her chaos energy back, XXC merges with ZM and triggers his revival, and NXY's death merges him with TM. They are all now in complete celestial mode.

The last part will be the fated karma or reckoning for the actual betrayals. Fun times ahead! 😂

Prolly in the drama had to limit the mourning scenes for XXC coz of time constraints. Too bad really coz our boy went through so much. In the novel, MXL went on hunger strike and didn't talk to anyone including Abao for days as she mourned for XXC. 😢
