I am really enjoying this setup & drama and hope others start watching it. I do hope they go in more of a 'mental health' direction than a 'get rid of the evil spirit' direction - it makes more sense to me that SH's personality was fractured due to the childhood trauma and both versions are part of him but fragmented. The shades of gray for his unified character and his personality reintegration would be more interesting to me than black and white separate characters.
finished it and I think it is fantastic. loved the fighting scenes, the cinematography, all the amazing young actors who did such a great job, the pacing, all the backstories that were slowly revealed, the suspense & drama, the way every episode ended on a cliffhanger. hoping for more!!!!
I’ll be that person who really likes the ending. Yo was oddly the most sympathetic character to me: profoundly emotionally stunted, would benefit from therapy. But deeply in love with Michi even if it terrified him and he isolated himself from physical intimacy with her subconsciously. I actually didn’t think the writing/story was going to put them back together and was oddly comforted they did. I hope in this fictional universe, Yo is able to get that inner healing he needs to be able to love Michi the way she deserves and continue to open his heart to her.
This is a fantastic article for an outstanding drama. LBFAD is one of my all-time favorites now. It's been over a month since it ended and I feel like I still can't move on.
