He has never been abusive. He always asked for her opinion and her consent. When she put a stop to their relationship, he let her be. Then she'll start calling him a coward. When nobody stood up to be her assistant, he did. When her sculpture broke instead of letting her wallow in self-pity, he proposed to remake it. When she had nobody to spend her birthday with, he decided to spend the day with her even though she had previously refused to meet him on that day. Yet she couldn't be bothered to send a simple text on his birthday. It seems that enjoying someone 's company while gradually falling for them is "toxic" nowadays.

It was the first time i have ever disliked a SML more so after seeing people in the comments and on social media whorship him.
I hate how he always guilt-tripped the FL, always making she was not a good person by not dating him. And also what kind of "friend" is he? As soon as she dates someone else he ghosts her. He did it 10 years ago and he does it again at the end.
This drama made me also realise as a woman that women are superficial. They care more about flowers and balloons than someone having their back even when they are treated like shit.

Thank you! Nabi really irritated me with her behaviour, always acting like Jae Eon is the devil while she kept projecting her insecurities and trauma from her previous relationship onto him.
I do like that seeing the drawing changed her perspective on their relationship, how she never really gave him a chance because of her hang-ups. She decided to start over because she liked him and he always had her back whichever way she treated him while Do Hyeok gave good lip service but just like 10 years ago disappeared when he couldn't get in her pants.

As for the not clarifying about the girlfriend i took it as him being tired of repeating himself over and over that he doesn't have a girlfriend. How many times has he told her he hasn't got a girlfriend and was not seeing anyone else? Frankly they have issues more important than a non- existent girlfriend. I think understanding that the girl he had fallen in love with was her helped her recontextualise their relationship. She finally heard what he has been saying since the beginning: "i am attracted to you, i don't have a girlfriend, i am not two-timing you, i like you." She realised her paranoia had destroyed their relationship. That's why she was no longer getting when some girls approached him.
