The writer has to explain the drama for those who didn't understand it because a drama is for people to understand the plot and enjoy it. if she didn't explain it by herself she has to make a season 2. There is someone told me that she was considering a sequal for the drama.

he didn't hit his younger self, he hit kim manok (the murderer) when he was a child. kim manok is the janitor's adopted son not kim sae ha. you will also notice in a scene that kim manok has an injured eye when he became an adult. Kim sae ha's younger self is the kid he was talking to when he was walking from school to his house.
