it pretty much follows the manhwa but for me personally, it's very... corny. i couldn't watch it without cringing at some parts lol but my cringe threshold is very low so you might feel differently about it 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk i liked the manhwa back then (3/4 years ago?) but watching this drama made me realize how cliche it actually is 😭 i don't think the drama is bad compared to the manhwa tho! it's pretty similar to me

you mean tv ratings? there are none because it's not aired on any tv station. it's entirely on watcha. however, it has been consistently trending number 1 on that platform for weeks already and was the 2nd most talked about ott drama like two weeks ago but idk if it's still the case since there have been no new rankings released so far

it's actually doing pretty well! it ranked first on the watcha (the kr streaming platform for se, similar to netflix but definitely not as huge) ranking for trending dramas for every episode released so far, and it was the second most talked about streaming platform drama for last week, only second to 2521 - which is impressive considering how popular 2521 is. idk how other kbls (like light on me) performed compared to se though.

taesung and haebom were childhood best friends. haebeom was adopted by taesung's mom after his parents died. taesung never wanted to be haebeom's brother which is why he has never treated him like his brother, not even once. this is why they're so awkward with each other as well.

yeah, this drama reminds me a lot of light on me which was (or still is) considered one of the best k-bl. if it was released just a year ago, it'd receive just as much hype tbh. i think this airing at the same time as semantic error doesn't do this drama justice though bc they're bound to be compared to each other even though cbaw is a drama and semantic error a romcom. they're both totally different :/

nope, this is college so it doesn't really matter what year you're in when it comes to courses. you can basically take up any course that you want and you can meet students of all ages/grades there. jaeyoung and sangwoo have a two or three year difference in the novel/webtoon
