i dislike most bl dramas because there is either no chemistry between the mcs or the acting is kinda lacking and i've been a bit reluctant about watching this one, too. but i really love the webtoon so i decided to give in and give it a try - and it's actually pretty good so far! it's funny, light-hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously which makes it pretty pleasant to watch - all things that make for a good romcom tbh.
both actors do a great job at portraying sangwoo & jaeyoung. i've seen a lot of actors playing aloof characters being really... awkward because it doesn't feel authentic but rather like they're just reading off the script? i don't have that feeling with sangwoo tbh. also park seoham is perfect for jaeyoung lol he does a great job at being as obnoxious as possible.
sure jaeyoung's antics can be quite off-putting. i personally think that jaeyoung is just petty af and his actions are so over the top i simply can't take them seriously since it's so typically romcom lol but i guess people define "bullying" differently. it's really not that deep in my eyes.
so far it's definitely one of the better korean bls for me and it has the potential to become one of the (and if not even THE) best. i love how they gave the side characters a bigger role, it makes the whole series more lively. i'm really excited for the upcoming episodes!

i'm not disagreeing on the bullying/stalking part at all because again, that's fair enough. but again, he doesn't have ocd. obsessions? where? because he likes to have everything organized??? are there any indicators of intrusive thoughts whenever he doesn't organize things? does he have crippling anxiety when he doesn't? this is why people go around saying they have ocd as a funny little quirk nowadays because y'all don't understand how much you actually suffer from it
Odd that no one seems to take issue with the romanticized stalking and bullying of a chracter who obviously suffers…
