I'm on episode 11, and there's hardly any scenes with the ML and FL together. I'll probably skip to episode 21.…
Although their interactions are are minor thus far, combined they have a major impact on CSS's growth and feelings for LBY later. That ephihany doesn't happen until way later though. I'm guessing a few episodes in during part 2.

There has been two scenes so far in the novel that I have read that got me teary. Unfortunately they don't happen until like 3/4 of the novel.

I will feel sad for Yuan Sheng in drama Part 2 😭.... He's standing beside CSS seems so lonely...
Sorry, I feel nothing for him. Sometimes you have to know when to call it quits. He's too arrogant for his own good. You can't force someone to like you. That said he does help CSS out, so he's not a bad guy.

can someone tell me when the romance starts picking up?
Should be 21 after the 1st engagement is broken off and LBY proposes marraige. At least for me, I'll start paying more attention. I don't care about the secondary leads. Hilarity will ensue with LBY trying to woo CSS and CSS helplessly falling in love.

So I found out why and whom lby murdered 3 days prior to his and css' wedding. He found out the truth of his identity…
Part 2 should follow immediately after part 1. I heard they were doing re editing as well. I'm just assuming they want to touch up stuff.

You are right. This fact should be revealed in episode 19. They actually have a lot in common. More than Lou Yao and Yuan Shen. Both feel that they are unlucky, rough childhood, lonely, righteous, don't care about fame or fortune or etiquette. CSS doesn't feel comfortable with him at first since she doesn't understand him. Lou Yao and Yuan Shen are open books to her, but not LBY.

Happy ending. ♥
I don't think it explicit says they got married. They are however together and they both have to same plan to travel and enjoy the views once they are married. I can't be sure, but she might be talking about what she had plan to do after she married LBY during their first engagement. IMO it's up to reader's interpretation. I like to think they got married and are just reminiscing about the past.

In the final scene they are talking about CSS's love knot, red string of fate. LBY had a feeling that they might get seperated one day so he placed it on her. CSS is just saying how proud LBY's parents are up in heaven and additional compliments.

I put a google translate of the last passage below for you:

"Ah, I have done a lot of wrong things and hurt you many times over the years, but you have never been discouraged by the true feelings of this world. You are very affectionate, and your heart is like a child. You are the best in the world. The best man."

"Ah, I am lucky to meet you for three lifetimes."

Huo Budo (LBY) felt an almost painful joy.

Then, he kissed the eyes of his love that seemed to be filled with water vapor.

In the drama I hope to get a wedding or confirmation they actually got married.

Wait people are saying that the CSS will have 3 fiance's I'm guessing the last one I'd LBY. Is it true because…
The only serious relationship was Lou Yao and LBY.

First Engagement:
Lou Yao was due to her being a little immature and starving for attention. He was the first one to make his feelings known and propose to her and she thought that he was a good enough choice. She did not fully love him though. At this point, she still didn't know what love was. Her opinion and maturity starts to change over time and she ultimately decides to let him go so that she can marry his ex-fiancée. Her family died fighting a rebellion and the dying father's last wish which was directed to the emperor was to ensure his daughter is properly married.

Second Engagement:
CSS always had some affection for LBY early on, but she wasn't aware of the feeling herself. Everyone else noticed except her. Or rather, she was denying her own feelings for him. She is smitten with him, but has the, oh he's too good for me deal, it's nice to just be able to see him from afar. She starts to take more interest in him when she realize he is the only one he can't read like a book. She is also very self unaware. She doesn't know how desirable she is. She ultimately falls madly in love with LBY, but days before their wedding, LBY is exiled for killing the Ling family for his revenge. As a result the engagement is broken off and they are seperated for 5 years. She never stopped loving him though.

Third Engagement:
She does not have any romantic affection for Yuan Shen at all. He is a pompous ass, I won't waste time talking about him. CSS agrees to the engagement to fulfill the dying wish of the Empress. The wish is to see her get married. Their engagement is short lived as LBY returns like right after they are engaged. CSS realizing she still loves LBY, breaks off the engagement. Yuan Shen doesn't want to, but LBY basically makes him cry by being badass with his love for CSS, and he finally agrees (he never had a choice anyways).

After CSS breaks off the engagement with Yuan Shen, she says she'll never get engaged again. She will just marry.

This is one of the most slow burn dramas around. It's comparable to Story of Minglan, where the romance for the leads don't even start until around episode 24. In LLTG, the romance begins around 19/20. According to the previews. In episode 19, LBY has a tryst with CSS to let her go. CSS has complicated feelings.

It's reverse-harem in the sense that all the leads like the FL. I never really agreed with the tag.

If you want to read a spoiler post I made on the novel from the time skip to the end. See below:

Nice touch. I think it's a nice breath of fresh air to have drama move more slow paced. Literally there were people complaining about when the romance is going to start between the leads after the first couple of episodes. It's the subtle romance that makes it feel more real. I'm impatient as heck too, hence why I just read the novel.

This is heartbreaking and I'm looking forward to how they will patch up their relationship. Hope the writing will…
He is very very very possessive. I'm usually not a fan of possessive leads TBH. It's consistent with his character though. His whole goal in life was to get revenge for his family, CSS was just happenstance. So when he found something that gave him warmth, it makes sense that he holds on tight to it and doesn't want to let it go.

However he is also very protective of CSS. He'd do anything for her, and that includes letting her go. The only thing is, he isn't willing to drag her along with him in danger. That's why after he massacres the Ling family he chooses to push her away during the horse cliff scene. But, CSS is ride or die with LBY. When they reconcile they are inseperable, CSS tells him from now on we are going to face everything together, regardless of the danger. LBY understands.

The thing is every time CSS tries to run away or avoid LBY, he just straight up grabs her or block her from leaving. However, everytime CSS just goes with him. If she doesn't want to, she doesn't have to see him. If she really asks him to stop, he will. CSS doesn't though. I think there wasn't a single instance where she says no to him after the time skip.

When LBY returns from his exile and has a chance encounter with CSS, he straight up grabs her and tells her he has some words. Yuan Shen shows up and he straight up just tells him okay you can come too since you are a part of it and they all get into a carraige together. LOL. He's like break off the engagement you are not a good match for her.

When he finds out her scar is about to disappear he just grabs her again and without much warning he bites her. She's like screaming and trying to fend him off, but he won't let go, then afterwards proceeds to put medicine on the bite. Then he just begs her. He knows her too well. He knows she is just fronting. The man is in pain, so finally CSS gives up and lets her feelings do the rest.

I don't know how the drama will go. But, looking forward to it.

In the official trailer, there's this part he ran amok killing and CSS was crying away. What's happening there?LBY…
I enjoyed WRTW. It's a tragedy that they were having infighting in the production team, it could've turned into something else than what we got towards the end. I had the same feeling with ADOS. In ADOS you can find deleted content and even content that was on the trailers were nmissing in the final production. A lot of it had to be due to poor editing and the 40 episode cap. It could've changed the Game of Thrones feeling I got at the end. Please don't let LLTG one fall into the same fate.

Yeah, we don't know for sure how the drama will turn out. It depends what the team is trying to convey in their drama. I'm not sure if the team/cast confirmed it's a HEA, but I'd like the to assume so. The majority of the romantic scenes in the novel so far, came directly from the book with some minor changes. Going through the journey of 3/4 engagements, if we don't get an HEA, that would suck.

So I found out why and whom lby murdered 3 days prior to his and css' wedding. He found out the truth of his identity…
I'm more into how the characters are feeling and their thought process than what happens. So, I just litter in the scenes that speak to me regarding that point. As they say, what matters is the journey, not the destination.

That's why the shrimp scene to me was really important. It could seem so inconsequential, but it was really important to understand the characters. LBY's love never changed. The real question unsaid is LBY asking, I know you still have feelings for me, are you willing to give me another chance? And then CSS figuring out if she wants to be honest with herself by giving him another chance, or continue to lie about her feelings. Only CSS's thoughts and feelings mattered, nobody else's, not even Yuan Shen's, her current betrothed. CSS understood the meaning behind the shrimp talk, and it was pretty much game over for Yuan Shen already, way before the 2nd bite confrontation. CSS was worried he might be angry, since she made him wait for so long, and was actually engaged with another. Real CSS would never have done that. Probably if CSS didn't change...as soon as he got back, they'd be back together again immediately.

Thanks for your kind words.

I don't know if I am the first, but I admit I do not like Yuan Shen. Puppy dog Lou Yao is better. Though Lou Yao is naive, at least his feelings for CSS is sincere. For Yuan Shen, CSS is someone he wants to conquer. Eww.

Team LBY always.

has anyone completed the novel of this live adaptation? In the official trailer, there's this part he ran amok…
In the official trailer, there's this part he ran amok killing and CSS was crying away.

What's happening there?
LBY killed off the Ling Family which was responsible for the death of his real family (the Huo family). He was swapped as a child and became a Ling in order to have his life spared. He found out and carried out the killing spree only days away from his wedding with CSS. He is a Huo, and the last of his line, not a Ling. He reclaims his surname to Huo later in the novel.

Does that part belong to Part 1 or Part 2, or towards the end of the story?
Part 1 and Part 2 is something that the production team needed to do in order to get past China's episode cap of 40. To tell the story they broke it up into 2 parts. If they didn't, they probably wouldn't have had enough episodes to tell their story. My guess is the reveal of the truth is going to happen in part 2. Their romance is a real slow burn. I'm basing this off the previews. The drama may not follow the novel's pacing.

Did the CP separate from each other due to misunderstanding?
It was not a misunderstanding. LBY goes on a killing spree right after he finds out the truth behind those that killed his family. His revenge came first and CSS was an afterthought. As punishment, LBY is exiled and the engagement with CSS is broken off. He doesn't return until 5 years later. In the novel, they never stopped loving each other, but forced apart due to the circumstance.

Did she remarry during the 5-years they're apart?
No. She got engaged to Yuan Shen, but that was only because she wanted to fulfill the dying wish of the Empress. Her wish was for CSS to get married before she passed away. CSS settled with Yuan Shen, but breaks off the engagement once LBY returns and she realizes she still loves him. So sadly, the Empress does not get to see CSS marry. But, I'd like to think the Empress was content before her death, knowing that CSS would marry her true love, LBY.

Did the novel end tragically or with a HEA?
I consider it HEA. It's not stated that they got married. However, in the final chapter they are together. There are talks about what they plan to do after they get married. My opinion is they got married and are reminiscing about the past. I hope in the drama we get a wedding, or at least confirmation they married. The final scene is CSS kissing a tearing LBY after she professes her love for him again.

Please spoil for me. Thanks in advance.
Done.

ironically he is the most childish of all 3 in his interactions with her!
From the novel yes. But his character is build on his pride and ego. The only person that defeats him is LBY. When he admit defeats he runs away in tears. Don't know how the drama will do.

So spoiler. I hate him the most out of all the suitors. He's arrogant and selfish. The main reason he is chasing her is because of his ego and got butt hurt since CSS doesn't like his pompous ass. Like how dare you not like me, I'll show you. Fucker is full of himself. He literally chases her for like at least 5 years and just when he think he finally got her, LBY comes back and will literally him cry.

He'd probably make a good ML for another story, but not for CSS.

thanks for sharing, but what do you mean by the "PS: Hoping for.........."
I think there is a debate going on if they actually married by the end of the novel. It's not explicitly stated that they got married. They are talking about plans after they get married, but are actually not married yet. My interpretation is they did actually get married and are reminiscing about the past. I hope they end up married in the drama.

What do u mean by lby putting css in the back burner and how did he take the revenge for which he was punished...…
OP meant he abandoned CSS to take his revenge. Their marraige was in a couple of days when LBY left her to take revenge. He murders the entire family responsible for the death of his. I won't put the twist.

Answer you second question. Yes, initially LBY resolved to let CSS go when he was exiled. He was going to keep protecting her regardless for the rest of his life. He only changed his mind when he returned and saw her again.
