I think it would just prove how vicious and nasty SJ has been since day 1. They had all felt sorry for her being ditched at her wedding. Also, it would show all the horrible lies SJ has said as she told the family she had only met KJ when he came back from the USA and they will finally kick SJ out of their company.

This is so different to other dramas where it looks like 2nd male lead is still in the running for our female lead's heart.
