Okay so the acting so far isn't great and the sound effects are boarding on excessive but it wasn't completely terrible lol I think it's good for a light watch although seriously frustrating. How can Rak sit there and let his boyfriend get mad at him for putting his arms around a dude for safety while riding a motorcycle when that same boyfriend fell asleep on HIS couch embracing his "just friend"? I would have thrown that back in his face like be for real right now. Rak must have been gaslit by Mek so much to reach this point, I'm really hoping we get rid of Mek in the next episode but I don't think it'll happen but either way I hope they don't drag the boyfriend plot for too long like just dump that man already.

Title La Pluie
So far, i've been silently watching the series and trying to gather my thoughts on how I feel about it and I feel like now is as good a time as any to start discussing. So far, the premise is interesting for sure but I do feel like there are a lot of plot holes in this universe. If Tai can hear Phat kissing someone when it rains, does that mean he literally hears everything Phat does when it rains?? What if he's in the bathroom when it starts raining does he have to sit there and listen to all that? What if he's "helping" himself when it starts raining? Does he have to hear that too? That would be aboslute hell lol I can understand the parents splitting up because things happen, you can't just rely on the fact that you're soulmates for your marriage to work, you have to put in effort and if you don't get along as people then it is what it is. I am a child of divorce but my parents split up when I was 2 months old so I guess I can't really relate to what it would be like to live with your parents being together for a lot of your life but then split up because I found Tai's reaction to it to be very dramatic. I mean I get that it highlights his own insecurties and doubts about the soulmate situtation he would eventually have to deal with and that it's just tough in general to split up but he was quite hostile when both parents were very calm about the situation and maybe some shit went down between his parents for him to feel that way but we don't know what caused them to split yet so for now it's a bit much. Also a question about the world, are they born with the hearing loss and have hearing loss when raining for their whole life but only have the soulmate connection when they turn 20? Or do they not get the hearing loss until they turn 20? I'll circle back to this in detail further down. For Tien, the acting for this character is so cringy and over the top and I don't blame the actor because i've seen him in another series and it wasn't like this so it was definitely the writers and the directors fault. Tien when he's with Tai is cute and bareable even if slightly childish or annoying at points but when Tien is with Lomfon, at least in earlier episodes, he was almost never not screaming and was so extremely childish and argumentative for no reason that I was skipping through their scenes until they reached a point of friendship and were more civil with each other. He was also extremely dramatic this episode (episode 8 that is) when he was crying about how he knows why his brother went up there and had to be held and all that like I get you're worried but tone it down just a notch. Now on to Lomfon, he confuses me greatly. I mean I think it was obvious to everyone in early episodes that he had a crush on Tai, you'd have to be blind to not see that. However, in these later episodes he seems to be flip flopping back and forth between liking Tai and showing interest in Tien now. I mean maybe he's just being friendly with Tien or maybe he's struggling with letting go of his crush on Tai and accepting that he may have developed feelings for Tien but either way his back and forth is confusing and slightly irritating though not too much at least for me. With the ending of episode 8 though and him being able to hear both Phat and Tai, this brings so much more confusion. Firstly, back to what I was saying about when they develope hearing loss, I'm confused on that point because with Lomfon, he is obviously younger than Tai and Phat so he could have just recently turned 20 which would explain why he suddenly could hear things but I feel like he didn't really show any signs of having hearing loss when he was in the cafe in an earlier episode with Tai. Secondly, I seriously doubt this show is going in the direction of a throuple because it's hard to find any shows that have throuples, even 3 Will Be Free is more so a polyamorous relationship rather than a legit throuple (meaning the 3 mains are dating each other exclusively with everyone involved having romantic feelings for everyone in the relationship). Normally i'd be more than willing for there to be a throuple so usually if a show has characters that could be a throuple (*cough* Light on Me *cough*) then I secretly wish for it even though I know it won't happen. In this case though, Tai, Phat and Lomfon don't really mix well in my opinion nor do any of them really seem like they would be into polyamory or a throuple. I've seen a comment that has a theory that maybe there's a like a "genetic station" of the Saeng's that he's tapped into and Tien hasn't yet turned 20 so Lomfon isn't able to connect to him so is instead routed to Tai who is genetically similar to Tien (which would mean they don't gain hearing loss until they turn 20) which does seem like a plausible explanation. I've also seen a comment that said maybe it is all science as Lomfon said in earlier episodes and being close to the mountain in the rain near the couple caused him to tune into their frequency by mistake or coincidence which I could see happening as well. Either way, I'm interested to see where they take this plotline and I really hope that Tien and Lomfon end up together because now that they're getting along and Tien screams a little less I think they're kinda cute. Oh I forgot to talk about Nara but despite her unsolicited kiss, i'm glad that she was super understanding about the break up and accepted it with ease without lashing out and saying harsh words or trying to force him to take her back like almost every other ex girlfriend or girl in general in BL's. Even worrying about Tai and telling Phat to run and find him, although he was already in the process of doing that so did it really need to be said? Not really, but I guess the writers wanted us to know that Nara supports their relationship or something lol Anyways, I feel like sometimes the show is dragging but overall I think it's a light and interesting watch anyways, these are my thoughts so far, we'll see how the show ends.

To be honest, I know a lot of people are wanting a messy series and I can totally understand that, to each their own! Personally i'm not really into that kind of thing and cheating in shows usually angers me, it's actually why I absolutely detest Dark Blue and Moonlight but this cast is truely tempting! I'm thinking to wait until it's done airing so I can read reviews and maybe binge it on my own so I can get the full story quicker and be done with it lol

Title The Eclipse
So, after watching the whole series and sitting on my thoughts for a while I have this to say about The Eclipse. It's a show that had a lot of potential to be like Not Me plot wise but didn't quite make it. To be honest, the cast really made this drama something worth watching! I just loved Akk and Ayan's relationship and First and Khaotung's acting and chemistry really pushed this drama to be one I really enjoy, the side cast all did great to. My issue comes with the writing, it was advertised as an intense mystery thriller series and the first episode starts of kind of that way as well but as the show goes on it feels very shallow and not fleshed out. The school is supposed to be horrible and power hungry and all that but when the students are protesting the only thing they talk about and take issue with is the fact that they have uniforms...that's it...uniforms. They could speak up about how the school allows them to be bullied for being in the LGBTQ+ community and they could have added more strict things to escalate the situation but the only focus for the longest time was that they had to wear uniforms as if that was some sort of cruel and unusal practice that pained them an d killed their entire family. I mean towards the end they continue to protest uniforms but luckily tack on the fact that the school willingly turns a blind eye to someone trying to endanger their students instead of investigating how these "incidents" happen to add some more depth to the protests. It seems like they were trying super hard to be deep and "woke" but didn't put in the effort to actually look into current issues and speak on them and instead threw in a random issue nd magnified it by a thousand to make it seem like a bigger issue than it initially was so they had a story to go with. I'm also highly unsatisfied with how they handled the Thua situation, he hurt his friends and outed people "for what was right" without even talking to them first to get the full story and then right after is suddenly working among the group as if all that didn't happen. They should have had a scene with him apologizing not for his beliefs but for how he handled the situation, then i'd be able to actually like his character a little more. Overall, the main plot point was very meh and a let down compared to what I was expecting BUT I would recommend at least giving it a shot as I still enjoyed it despite my issue with some of the writing, the cast really does make it a fun watch! Whether i'll re-watch it...I may come back to it after some more time when I start missing First and Khaotung together or missing the Akk and Ayan charcters lol

So far I am really enjoying this series, it's honestly becoming one of my favorites! Sure the plot is nothing new or unique but it's executing a common plot exceptionally well and with the influx of more serious and darker BL's that's happened lately this show is like a breath of fresh air! I enjoy a more "mature" and serious show but this one really helps me relax and regain my energy~

Title My Only 12%
I feel like reviews on this particular website are so harsh or maybe i'm just easy to please lol I quite enjoyed this show! Yes it wasn't intense and steamy like KinnPorsche or Love In The Air but with the plot being two childhood friends falling in love I wasn't really expecting much explicit scenes and I don't understand why people get mad that there isn't any just because the show ends with the characters being in university. Can gay romance not be cute and fluffy? I feel like the people complaining there's not enough explicit scenes are the ones who fetishize gay romance and only watch BL's for that kind of content rather than the actual story. Don't get me wrong I like a good steamy scene myself but I'm also not bothered if there isn't one if the chemistry is good and I enjoy the story. I can agree though that I would have liked less crying in the last two episodes, I mean I know his mom died but dang it was a lot. Other than that, I thought it was a cute first love romance and I loved that they actually touched on Eiw discovering his sexuality and not just completely ignoring it or pulling the typical "I'm not gay I don't like any other men except you" bs. One review stated that Eiw didn't grow at all and was exactly the same when Cake returned but i'd have to disagree. While they did kind of reconnect and share the same bond they had as kids Eiw had more going on in his life than just following Cake around. They spent a lot of time together still but Eiw joined a club which he never would have done before, did activities for the club he joined, had other friends besides Cake and his typical crew and was a lot more out going and open with strangers. He even called Cake out for his crappy attitude instead of letting it all slide and just go on like he would have back in high school. Maybe the change was too subtle for some people but for someone who has social anxiety and has a hard time putting myself out there and likes to stay in the comfort of my two long time friends and no one else I can definitely see the growth. Overall I enjoyed this show for what it was, going in with the expectation of something simple and feel good and getting just that. I would like to see the SantaEarth pairing in a new show but would love to see Earth challenege a different kind of character than the soft emotional one.

This Korean BL is probably the best K- BL out there (alongside Light On Me) and I already miss it after just finishing the final episode ;~; I really do hope for a season 2, I'm willing to wait until 2024 for when Seoham comes back so please if a season 2 does go into the works keep the same cast! Jaechan and Seoham's chemistry is seriously the best and the friendship that they gained through this is so heart melting to witness~

Thank you so much for letting me know, I'm glad that in this version the ML admits his wrong doing. Thank you for warning me about that scene, I might give this version a try and skip through it!

Someone please let me know how the bullying and confrontations between FL and the ML are in this version. I watched the Korean version first and absolutely hated it to the point I quit watching like a few episodes in because the physcial, emotional and mental abuse from the ML towards the FL was way too much and was being normalized and romanticized. I watched the Chinese version just to see if they would do things differently and while some of the confrontations were harsh in the first episode or two I felt they weren't as intense and horrible as the Korean version which made me quite enjoy it and actually finish watching that version of the series. I've been debating on if I should check the Thai version but my mental health has been on a decline recently and I have past trauma with abusive relationships so if there's going to be as much abuse and toxic behaviour as the Korean version i'd rather not watch it.
