I’m so underwhelmed and disappointed tbh. The confession at the end was wonderful and HeeSu and Seungwon are adorable together but getting there was torture. The constant cuts to different scenes that had nothing to do with the supposedly “main” couple and don’t get me started on Chanyoung. Probably one of the worst characters ever in a drama..we’re sure he’s not a villain??

Because we spent so much time away from the leads the development between them seemed rushed. If the progression was more natural the payoff would’ve been much more satisfying. I will also agree with the other comments that skipping almost the entire episode still doesn’t make the show good. If that much needs to be skipped to enjoy it there’s a major problem. The actors did great though and this is no way criticism towards them since they could only work with what they were given.

Secret Relationships would have ate up that extra screen time. They already did so much with what they had but since the storyline and characters were so interesting more time to show us even more would have been amazing. AND we know they would have used it wisely.

More recent was Secret Relationships. highly recommend! unhinged mess in the best way possible and the acting is great.

Thank you! I get really annoyed at the comments that make it seem like we are complaining about the couple because they are straight. I will not feel guilty about being frustrated at the fact that a queer story has barely focused on the queer couple and most of the romantic scenes have been centered around the straight couple. We have a right to be upset and disappointed. As soon as it feels like we’re getting somewhere with HeeSu and Seungwon the show feels like it needs to interject with ChanYoung’d storyline or give us a Chanyoung and JiYu moment. It interrupts the development of the “main” couple and just makes the editing seem all over the place.

The way you think ChanYoung is actually going to help. That boy only cares about himself and his tennis.

And he stands up for HeeSu when he needs to. That was so attractive.

Don’t bring DaOn into this. I’m biased bc DaOn is one of my fave characters but he wasn’t as uninteresting or self-centered as ChanYoung. He had an immense need to please others so at least I understood him. ChanYoung just grates on my nerves with every scene.

i feel like we’re going crazy. we’re so deprived that we get 2 min of heesu and seungwon and we’re celebrating 😅 it’s really sad tbh.
