Imoogi is just a creature that becomes extremely strong by killing and consuming other creatures while Lee Yeon is a god, he for sure is more powerful. Hong Joo is different, she is also a god and Lee Yeon confirmed that she is the strongest one so he probably wanna avoid some trouble. Also that just my pov.

I agree, they show clearly that Hongjoo is the possessive type, she's not "in love" in love with Lee Yeon but rather wanting to have him as an achievement, SHE EVEN WANNA TAXIDERMY HIM LOL!!! In the end of ep2, it seems like Hongjoo has a certain feeling toward Mooyoung since she's most definitely not the type who would drop her everything, crying and running over a man like that (even if they're bestie, cuz the bestie vibe from Hongjoo and Lee Yeon is quite different)

personally I think the acting in ss1 is not that great, the story line is not as attractive and somewhat predictable. Regardless, ss2 seems very promising, they also includes new characters with mysterious back story, making me so excited to watch it. Plus point, they casted thee Kim So Yeon!!!!

it tore me so much that I can understand Goo Ryun and Joong Gil's perspectives, they're both right and it's heartbreaking
