Well I mean... Changhe's fight scenes have always been getting cut. We're always jumping to the aftermath of his fights, but we get the full thing for Su Muyu. It was pretty clear from the start.

Either the missing numbers were Princesses and they were part of the order count as in some dramas, or they were Princes who died due to palace struggles. It's possible some were titled at birth, but died while they were babies. Harem drama will never fail to whittle down the numbers

I think one of the struggles I have with ages and the timeline is due to the show bringing back actors and actresses from previous series. Love Li Hanyi, but you can kinda tell she's slightly older here than in Blood of Youth lol. On the other hand, they brought in the Sikong Changfeng from Dashing Youth who doesn't seem to have age when side by side with Li Hanyi.

I can't believe they skipped Changhe's fight scenes at the tower 😢. I'm really hoping for more of his fight scenes because they seem a little more grounded in choreography rather than a lot of CGI and sword arrays and whatnot. Of course, he did have his Hellfire Palm Yama moment, but majority of his fights involve hand to hand and it just looks so cooool.

If they adapt this into a drama, they'll probably make the FL more emtional and regretful of her actions just to pass the censorship... They can't have a fully ruthless and unrepentant main lead, what a pity

I'm pretty sure he does, because in the ending credits, he had heart eyes when he was looking at FL twirling in the snow. Granted, it was like a 2 second shot.

That's such a typical reason in these historical dramas for the father to neglect and borderline abuse their kids. All because the mother died. I can't even escape this trope in webtoons 😂
