they really don't do drama like these anymore everything is so bland nowadays where is the spice, the rollercoaster, the emotions the way this mind f me

Yeah it is, we all know it's teribble and most of us have experienced it- I just wish they engulfed in the rich world like the other versions did instead. It's a little boring, the F4 barley come off as friends, there's no romantication of their lifestyle which was fun, no 2nd couple or focus on the other guys and there are lessons every episode (I'm part of this "generation" but we obsessed with everything having to be real or relatable instead of producing good products that will last an enternity - general statement not related to this version) . It's not bad though just not as entertaining and depressing when life sucks. You just wanna be in that world instead of being reminded of life issues (that's just me though). If I remember correctly the ML changes to the better in every version even if he didn't address his previous actions. I loved his changes there especially in the manga/hana yori dango drama and he doesn't do it anymore that was enough for me. This is too unrealistic especially on the victims side in my eyes and the audacity of contacting them. Either way it's just my opinion not meaning to offend anyone, I'll probably see through it whilst taking breaks. I kinda want a Korean adapation now.

I am well aware and glad he didn't honestly what is that, if it were me it would put me in a shitty position. It's better to just move on and stay away from each other because either way these scars never heal. Wether they regretted it or not honestly, I don't care if they do. Honestly wish they would've sticked to the OG drama or manga instead of repeating it and giving out life lessons every ep. They could've used that time on something else and made the drama more exciting. It's serious for no reason, a little boring the other F3 barley have a focus. I think that's partly why I enjoy Meteor Garden more despite that issue being glossed over due to censorship. I'll still keep watching slowly maybe

honestly it's okay, i'll finish it but definitely prefer meteor garden 2018 over it despite it's length. it's so serious, the F4 don't seem like friends (the other 3 barley have screentime) and the ML isn't a himbo as in the other version. maybe it's bc i was bullied, i just wanted to escape reality and engulf myself instead of the whole "omg it's bad" every ep, could've used that on kaning and kavin

watched a few eps of F4 thailand which is a bit boring and miss this version, it was definitely more entertaining, the guys came off as friends and we actually got to see the 2nd couple interact more

meteor garden 2018 and the taiwan he was a tea guy too but i guess they changed that btw will kaning and kavin be a thing, i'd be disappointed if not

btw will the 2nd couple be a thing here bc it seems only 5 from what i've been reading here, they are always my fave part or they considering a 2nd season?

i am one ep in so far i like it's finally a drama that has drama, flawed characters and isn't a boring snoozefest with bland characters who have zero personality other than "nice". my only beef is that he male lead always looks as if he's smiling and they don't feel threatening .. at all and the one cast as kavin the role i always fall for is a little missplaced, doesn't come off as a playboy
