The last episode was really rushed and took out Kou's flower scene it breaks my heart bc it showed how deep in love he was š but I love how we see Kou apologise to Futaba for the mistakes he made.
Iāve seen all the ao haru ride adaptations and Iāll just be commenting on this version as a stand alone rather…
I actually think they are doing a terrible job at the way they portray Kou compared to the manga. They took out a lot of his reasonings, made it seems as if he was torn btw 2 women .. as for Touma it's the same compared to the manga his actions are being downplayed and even glorified.
"he likes esp after witnessing her be strung along by another boy who clearly had no intention (at that moment) to be with her."
Albeit the drama did a less good way of showcasing but the guy saw Kou in the classroom hugging Futaba and knew he was trying to fix everything (making his move). That's why in the manga and in the drama he suddenly demanded an answer (a yes).
"Pushing and pulling with futaba only when he felt threatened by toumaās presence"
Here we see Kou making up his mind the moment Futaba helped him see clear in the hospital scene where he realised time wasn't standing still. It didnāt really have anything to do with Touma more with Futaba giving him hopes in the school trip and him realising there might still be a chance.
They added a lot of these Touma scenes šµāš« can't believe they'll press everything into 1 final ep and get like 2 good Koutaba scenes. The pacing is really messef up...
man what is going on here, "toxic, narcisstic, manipulative" kou ain't satan for heaven's sake. my boy fr never getting understood bc ppl expect him to be the typical perfect male lead who acts right, not mess up, draw the right decisions at 16 and despite him getting emotionally manipulated by a toxic chick š shouldn't ya be hating her? I'm glad he'd not doing everything right. Ya acting as if he abused his fave girl.
The way ya talking about him ya won't like the next ep bc Touma and Kou are getting heated lol
I guess there are really watchers/readers like you who didn't see anything compelling unless the characters is…
Very unlikely but if it's the case, I do hope he has flaws, likes, dislikes, ambitions, makes mistakes, doesn't only revolve around you and a personality on his own.
I guess there are really watchers/readers like you who didn't see anything compelling unless the characters is…
The writing itself isn't good nor groundbreaking and that's okay to admit even the cases dragging on. Wooyoung was the only highlight here. The idea and potential was there but it was beliw value.
I don't know if it is a trend of new kdramas where the male leads act like extras. The kdramas that I've recently…
This and it saddening that as long as ppl hype these MLs up, we won't get good ones again. I don't need them to be perfect just with character development and growth. Bland Puppy MLs x strong (usually either toxic or rude) FLs really isn't good writing
I guess there are really watchers/readers like you who didn't see anything compelling unless the characters is…
There's a difference btw simplicity and bad, flat writing. Junho doesnāt even have a personality, nor his own ambitions or anything outside of Woo. I see ppl saying they want someone like him a) a guy like him doesnāt exist and b) no we wouldn't
the writing wasn't good, the romance was forced without any build up, the characters are flat especially Junho, the cases became boring, the only compelling character was wooyoung but even she wasn't given the development and growth she deserved. this drama had potential to be a masterpiece but had no direction. it's just bland and genuinely doesn't deserve the hype it got
i wish kdrama returned to character development and growth again and writing compelling characters regardless how flawed they are not just "greenflags" who run after the female lead like dogs at this point it's simply an indication of poor writing
but i guess that's what people look for in a drama nowadays and why they head to korea thinking these men are different according to various articles
Chile, you need to take a break for a week. You sound delusional and obsessive. Telling folks what to watch, based…
I mean I was vocal about not enjoying it as much as previous versions and I agree that it's being praised too much but they basically are saying if you don't like these tropes don't watch it.
Why do we viewers (and real fans of the BOF Saga) love the main hero Thyme Paramantra (aka Domyjoji Tsukasa) so…
I didnāt like this version much (neither BOF) but it can easily be explained bc he's a compelling, flawed and intetesting character that grows a lot. Seeing him change to the betterand falling in love is exciting as many times we've seen it happen before. Ppl nowadays either expect "healthy/bland" characters or that we must hate controversial, toxic characters. I'll be honest I prefer characters like him or Kavin, they're fun to explore.
Finished it finally and gotta say I don't understand the praise. It's basically F1 + the cheerleaders, the main couple didn't even come across like a couple, neither do the friends seem like friends, the FL's always shouting, Ren shined too much compared to the ML and 2nd couple was wasted. Don't even get me started on the pacing, editing, acting, the adds.
I am not trying to rile you up. In the chinese version, A Si, didn't apologize to any of his rivals or even thought…
Yeah and that put the victim in a shitty position and they didn't apologise because they regretted it but bc they were exposed as a bully. An apology is not gonna change what they've done. I can't get my life together bc of them, been in thearpy, have major trust issues they say sorry and it's fine? Props to the "guy" in F4 but I highly doubt many would've done that. For me it's unrealistic and yes, I do hope my bullies moved on with their life and regretted it as they matured. That's all but if they contact me god no
