The only show i rate 8/10 in spite of hating the first 10 episodes

This is the type of drama that literally could have been cut down to 10 episodes if the leads werent doormats

Liang jie is becoming a favorite of mine. She has been in drama that have made my year end lists and this is no exception. I forgot that i watched this up until episode 2 but i was still hooked and finshed it nonetheless

Ya the fact that they thought he was dead is also gonna bring in more nuance to the situation. Of course they hate him, but for the past year they might have been carrying around other emotions like guilt, sorrow which is why they prolly held the memorial. I feel like the mom is the perfect representation of this because it is evident that she is confused with the situation.

Its different when it comes to family. I guess i can find it realistic because a similar situation happened to my family where my grandfather was a deadbeat who showed up and shit got really heated but a few years has allowed him to reconcile with the family. Family can be like that sometimes

I find it very weird whenever we have a drama where one of the leads has a one sided crush for more than 5 years unable to move on. Recently it has just been a turn off for me. I will try to continue this since it is a shorter series

I cant stand love triangles but i like the cast so I'll try this out

Because of the ep 8 trailer I am convinced that the moral if this story is you only get what you want if you're selfish. (I know that its not going to end that way but honestly the mom is the only one in the show who has consistently gotten her way, and it looks like we will only get a happy ending because she changes her mind, sort of like GAP with the grandma). That being said, even though i have my issues with the writing on this show, the production was pretty nice. The last GL I watched just looked cheap and they definitely were not done with the sound effects and the editing

I dont think she gotten great characters. From a purely writing perspective she plays bland, uninteresting and unlikable characters. To me thats more of an issue of her agency who books these types of roles for her and writers who dont write likeable characters

It seems other people also felt the same as me. Ep 6 just felt like 5 minutes of actual substance while the rest of it was filler. The story didnt actually progress much and i hope they dont do the same for ep 7 because i really hate rushed endings with a passion

I would say they are as steamy as GAP

I really dont know what to think of this. Im enjoying this but i feel like this story does not live up to its potential. The cast is carrying with their chemisty and perfomances but the writing could be better.

After watching Gap i was too distracted by Sam and Mon being completely different characters so i didnt really enjoy this. But the acting was pretty decent
