Trying so hard to understand this, while knowing full well that it’s an entertainment $ business $ and, ultimately, money has to be made. BUT what exactly is the job of a Kcasting director? Is it simply choosing one random actress after another and throwing them into a romantic scene without considering whether the pairing actually makes sense?
K-dramas and Korean culture need to be studied and understood more deeply. What is the international viewers seeing that a Kviewers can’t see? There has to be more to casting and chemistry than simply putting two actors together and calling it a romantic pairing.
Mu Jin and Gyu Rim are the wrong pairing. The other actress has much better chemistry and seems like a more natural match for him. The pairing should feel believable, not forced.
And why get mad? He was being honest with you. He told you he was rich because he was genuinely interested in having a romantic relationship with you. If someone is being upfront about his intentions and telling you the truth about his situation, why be angry about it? (Soju scripts ) Epi 3, done!
