Just came from twitter and wtf. I can't believe they're getting their own series ??? I'm literally flabbergasted. I wanted more of them in Pit Babe and now you're telling me I'm actually gonna get it !? Where is July when you need her :((
I do not know... I adore Babe and Charlie's relationship. Even though the circumstances are understandable given what they've been through with that devil named Tony. Still, is it wrong that I want the final episode to be realistic? And by realistic, I mean Babe won't forgive Charlie after a few minutes. As previously stated, the reasons for Charlie faking his death are comprehensible, but if I were Babe, I doubt I would be able to forgive him so easily. After seeing you crash in front of my own eyes, rescuing you from that catastrophe, calling an ambulance, and being with you the entire time, I arrived at the hospital and waited to hear anything, not only to be told you didn't make it but to sense and hear it because, once you die, my power returns. BRO! It would take years of apologies before I could forgive you for that.
Anyway, Alan is so biker boyfriend-coded. And the mouth on that man, good lord. He kisses so passionately but he doesn't do it like he's starving, he just takes his time and it's seriously so maddening. He is gradually working his way up my "Best Kisser" list. Also, his date with Jeff was amazing. So cute!!
Umm... that was.. whatever it was. On the other hand, the fact that this has slightly a higher rating than Only Friends and Not Me, completely baffles me. Did we watch the same episode?? Or did the content of the episode completely went over my head?
This is "excruciatingly annoying romance," not romantic comedy. I nearly had a mental breakdown just 40 seconds into the episode. So imagine if I decide to watch the entire series. I'll probably be in a coma from being irritated 8 times every Friday. I understand they wanted to make Jade's character personality perhaps "goofy" and "hyperactive," but he was just overbearing. Don't even get me started on Jade's facial expressions. I seriously wanted to pinch him to stop. And omg, the sudden talking to the "camera" while he was interviewing Mai, A MESS. This is a common thing in BL's, but in this case, it was just pissing me off. I really want to continue this series for my babies, so let's see, I guess. πΆπ½ββοΈ
P.S.: Bonus points for my other babies, KingUea. They're so cuteeee!
This series started out well, even though I found it to be all over the place. The subtitles were a mess, and the closeness of the two leads each time they talked pissed me off because there's no reason to be that close. Nevertheless, the two leads have great chemistry, and the tension between them each time and how cute they were made me overlook the flaws until episode 8. I feel like it should've just ended there. 10 eps was not necessary. Episode 8 should've been where they got together because they've literally made their relationship fast asl since episode 1, so the sudden slow burn was irritating.I decided to give it a 7/10 since I genuinely enjoyed episodes 1β8 (2β4). I would love to see these two in another series with a better plot, and their acting is improved because they both have potential, with an emphasis on Parker.
Wow, I can't believe it's really over. Anyway, I actually really like this series. There's definitely room for improvement as it relates to acting from each actor, but otherwise, the great plot and the crossovers from HIStory3, HIStory4, and Plus & Minus had me kicking my feet and squealing like a child who just got candy. I really enjoyed the storylines of both couples, but Chen Yi and Ai Di definitely made their way into my heart and took it for themselves. As such, I hope Nat and Louis get their own series because, wow, their chemistry is off the charts. Also, completely unrelated, but can I just comment on how handsome/hot Nat Chen is? His visuals are so pleasing to look at, especially his eyes. He might just be an actor I'm gonna start keeping tabs on. P.S.: I really loved Zhang Yi and his dad relationship. He's so supportive of his son, and that's so rare in BL's.
This was so freaking adorable. It's not your typical expectations of BL's, you know, breakups, love triangles, exes coming back, etc. No, it's just a soft romance between two childhood friends who like each other but don't know that they both do. It's definitely something to rewatch if you're feeling bored and want something to swoon over. I'm going to miss them. :(((Β P.S.: Yamato is my fav character. He's so relatable because most of us really do have this much anxiety and fear when we like someone we think we shouldn't like.
no Sand slander will be tolerated. he clearly has love for Boeing, despite the fact that their relationship ended on bad terms. and he has been trying to move past that throughout the series. Sand loves Ray, and he also still has love for Boeing. as much as it's a red flag in relationships nowadays to still love your ex, when you were with someone for what felt like your whole life but it actually wasn't, sometimes rifts are formed between the past and the present. history attachment is real, and that's something that Sand has clearly been struggling with, hence why his emotions seemed so hesitant. i just hope he doesn't let the attachment he has been carrying around latch onto him again.
Our Sand has taste, we cannot deny that. If a threesome needs to happen then let it be him, Ray and Boeing. There,…
HAHA ! that would indeed be interesting. but with the way Ray glared at Boeing in the preview of the next ep , i'm afraid we'll never get to see that happening.
whew. i'm a binge watcher at heart, but this seemed too cute not to start watching while it's airing. okay, first off, the first ep of the drama isn't your usual "episode 1" because they're practically 1 cm away from kissing each other and they just met? i get maybe they were trying to portray tension between them, but it ended up being just weird. and i'm not usually a fast-burn romance fan, but this could be an exception. they have chemistry, and the tension is tensioning! got me kicking my feet and squealing every two secs.Β
also, the male lead visuals are a plus. they're so pleasing to stare at.
i just rewatched the ep and you know what? shout out to Sand bc Boeing is just hot asf. i mean, i despise the little bastard bc he's going to stir shit up between SandRay, but way to go.. went from one fine man to another !
The shooting quality, acting and locations are nice. But don't expect a complete BL, it's more of a Lakorn series.…
you had me at slow burn, haha. it's one of my favorite tropes in any series or movies, especially BLs. I'm going to start it once it's finished airing, thanks ! :)
