He has met his match…a formidable woman and a challenge that stokes the fires of his ambition, pushing him to eliminate her all the more.

more like a formidable opponent which makes SZY wants to eliminate her all the more...it’s a scheme and kill in almost 3/4 in the novel..we’ll see how it turns out in the drama.

they are allies and friends in a sense..

i personally love the bgm Whenever SZY and JTH are in a scene together, and there are subtle cues of an emerging affection

yes they both have suffered in their past. 🥹 which how they both become cynical and cunning

in the novel, he divorced them.

yes, rival in scheming and he finds JTH a formidable opponent.

He’s good . CP and the rest is fighting for the throne.

love your pfp

happy ending

i think there’s 2 option, a pay per express and one time payment to watch express till the end..

if im not mistaken in the novel she might be the latest concubine planted in his harem to curry favor but in the drama she might have a different role.

indeed 😁

knowing how ambitious he is, in the end he’ll help her achieve her goals in her kingdom

and kill her some more 😭

killing and scheming until the end 😂

same now I’m confused which one should i focus once i replay haha

haha Shen Zaiye who has a skill to change /mimmick voice like his ally Xu in the novel. And yes, I’ve accepted the dub too, it gives me space to focus on LXY’s microexpressions and acting, knowing that outside this drama he’s very capable acting and voice, I’m proud of him.. Then again, I won’t be able to accept for LJQ 🤣

he’s not involve with them in the novel. but it’s okay if you’re uncomfortable with it..

he has a different way of expressing his love in the novel 🫠
