It didn’t show everything like the KYG speech bc either that’s a diff day/scene or they just didn’t want to replay everything ig

There’s def one-sided romance between them, otherwise it wouldn’t have said so on the character relationship chart. That “family” mention in ep 7 I think was just him telling her she’s the only one left he could consider family.

Even after hearing that, I still can’t get my hopes up for that pairing. Instead I thought of every scenario except a bed scene like it would be funny if it turns out shirtless EP scene is just a stressful shower scene.😭 Also thought of a wound treatment scene.

That’s why I wondered if what SEP said about him being punished for doing the “unforgettable/unforgivable” possibly meant he will go so far as to kill for her? bc I know he won’t want Rael to stain her hands with blood like that. To become monsters like her enemies. He’ll commit the dirtier sins for her.

But I also hope it doesn’t mean he just goes to jail for her in the end. Like idk, just the thought of seeing this character behind bars annoys me.

If it ever were to be reciprocated by the end, then that chart was just to mislead us….(can they do that..?)

I’m second lead-biased, but I don’t even have any hope that Rael will return his feelings. I just need the BARE minimum of Rael acknowledging his efforts or even being swayed by him even for just the TINIEST BIT. This is screwed up ig, but I actually want him to die bc I really just want to see the actor act out a death scene lol.

Right?! Saw ppl citing him flashbacking to young Rael whilst watching her dance as peak weird behavior, but that was not a strictly falling-in-love scene. He didn’t have that expression of just a lovestruck fool, but looked incredibly sad as he remembers what young Rael had to overcome alone to get to where she is now. He sees how graceful and talented an adult she’s become, yet he can still see that same pain she is trying to overcome through her focused dance, which just breaks his heart. Tbh actor LSY explained that scene best in that yt cast interview.

im a SY fan too, but PBE was adorable and great in This is My First Life. made me root for him there.

This just an observation and I know it’s meant to be a hardcore plot, but lol all main characters is some level of insane:

Rael: planned revenge for a wholeass 13 years, this is a lifelong grudge damn. How creative did she get?

Sora: Her bio straight up says she’s insecure and obsessed.

CEO: Well he married said obsessed chick. And dude? how’d you cause someone to plan revenge against you for 13 years like maybe you deserve it??
