I know it's impossible to do a live action of all 112 episodes, but FIVE?????? Of course we're gonna get a lot of the heart and soul ripped out to add more space for fighting. So I went in expecting that, and was not disappointed in the slightest. I grew up with the original anime, and this teaser trailer of a season is just fine. Not fantastic, but they had no time for that.
1-8 are fantastic. 9-12 could use some work. 13-16 made me want to reach through the camera and shake everyone involved. There was only so much that could be done with a story so full of holes.... I appreciate the efforts of the actors, the sets were gorgeous, the production was visually stunning, the OST made sense in the context of the show.... It was just the plot that was so infuriating.
