One does not wear a a full suit and polished leather shoes to do yard work outside, because it would ruin the wool/linen blend and damage the leather of his shoes. That is why the first thing he needed to do when he got onto the property is change into more appropriate attire. Would you wear a lifeguard swimsuit to an investor's meeting? If you were hired as a truck driver, would you wear an Armani suit and polished loafers to the truck depot? The location and type of job is what one should think of when getting dressed; this is common sense.

To elaborate, Uno was so unaware of what a dog cafe was, that he didn't know how to dress or what he was supposed to be doing during his time there. Unless every single person involved in wardrobe, production, makeup, scheduling, and general filming NEVER TOLD HIM what a dog cafe was, he would have known that a dog cafe needs employees to be able to get dirty. He never Googled what the job would be, either. The point of the suit in general is to show ignorance, not in a bad way, but just how detached Uno is from the community. He treated his first day like another acting job. It is an important point of what he is like as a character.

I already commented this earlier, but I was having trouble until I watched this show has a buddy comedy with serious topics, like a rom-com with drugs and prostitution. The tone shift is all over the place, so you get emotional whiplash, but once you see the whole series as a comedy, all the terrible detective work and the weird dialogue all make sense.
