Person Kwon Do Eun
Please explain the following for the ending to make some sense, ma’am

1) Since ep 14 the show felt rushed. Ep 16 felt as rushed as me studying the night before an exam, eventually vomiting everything in the exam whatever I crammed the entire night.
1) Who’s HDs husband and why is he so insignificant that he didn’t even appear once.? And why did HD even break up when her actual husband is long distance anyway. And How can KMC be so excited to read her mom's affair with another person if BYJ is not the dad? If it were me, I would have been disgusted.
2) How can they give up so easily? The14.5 episodes of such a beautiful buildup leading to 1.5 episode of a rushed heartbreak? The pacing wasn’t right and it felt unjustified to give on such a precious bond without giving it a second chance after learning from the previous mistakes.
4) If I get the message right, the writer wants to convey that first true love doesn’t work. If this is true then How can all the side characters get a happy ending especially Yu Rim and Ji Woong when there wasn’t a proportionate character buildup?
5) The trailer “at 25 they fell in love” and all the previous cliffhangers were all marketing gimmicks as nothing came true.
6) Why can’t HD remember the beach trip and when did her mom meet BYJ and what is BYJ doing in the present in 2021?
7) this is my personal opinion but couldn’t BYJ found some work life balance to protect something so precious? Or is giving a higher priority to your work the only honorable thing to do?

Thank you. I’m pretty sure more people would be accepting of the ending if it wasn’t so rushed. Some people…
I feel you. It’s the same with me. This is the first time i saw a drama in real time because I was so absorbed by the drama. But I don’t think I can do this again.

Exactly! It’s not about the happy or sad ending until they make it look convincing. Till ep 14 the stage looked set for a convincing happy ending. Then they reverse geared in second half of ep 15 and ep 16 looked like an accident. Even till the end it looked like they wanted to be together but due to some bumps in the middle such strong characters couldn’t cross it. Otherwise they shouldn’t have portrayed them as such strong characters to make it look a teeny weeny bit convincing.

If the writers wanted it to end the way it did, This should have been a 20 episode drama where they could have shown the growing emotional and physical distance between them instead of cramming everything in last 2 episodes so unconvincingly.

it wasnt amnesia, it’s normal for someone to forget certain memories in our youth, that’s why photos are important.…
I disagree. Moments when strong emotions are attached are mostly unforgettable.

Reasons I felt this is a really bad ending:

I feel there can only be 2 kind of endings if both break up: either a really good ending or a shitty ending. No in between. So writers pls give us an in between happy ending where both are together TT
