and here I was totally loving it. i loved the ending as a standalone topic. we could say it's a prominent topic that humans/close ones are the real antagonist and we all can see it a cliche and repeated topic yet yet when I was watching it and seeing how each character struggled and tried all for the end (which the ending of alien attack did was a quick and bit eh.) and getting a quick finale which was unexpected but should've expected was like a Ah! moment for me.

it was really a good one with good presentation. and actually touching a good theme. loved it the way it was. wouldn't say it's 10/10 tho, it doesn't go far to 10. but it'll be like 6/6. idk if that makes sense but it's good and best the way it is.
never shed a tear after completing a series watching it online just because it ending. i have watched number of series while it's ongoing and I'd feel empty after completing them thinking alternate story progressions and so but this made me miss it so much the moment I saw the end credits. I was so emotionally invest maybe also because weiwei's mom .. his old house. and his last dialogue, "I'm home now." (prolly different in different translations. saw an edit with slightly different one. but somehow that felt deep and so much touching and tears fell down for the 1st time.
