just my opinion, I think Gmm is not that bad in suspence on earlier- take gifted, home school, midnight museum... but some how recent ones don't truly work. maybe the production and directorial team didn't keep up what they commited. And also GBYFD also had a messed up plot on the last two episodes, too much of rage biting happened there because of the decision characters made. but yeah compared to DYTD GBUFD had a bit of a strong hold on investigation and suspense till end
