MYGOD THIS DRAMA IS SUCH A NO-BRAINER TO WATCH, BUT CUTE, MAKES ME SMILE AND GIGGLE AND ANNOYED SOMETIMES, AND THEN IT HURTS LIKE HELL, MAKING ME BAWL MY EYES OUT, YET STILL SO LOVELY.
This is a good show that highlights the generational gap between the old and new generations in the martial arts world. It emphasizes how the youths should be allowed to make a future for themselves, not be burdened by the ambitions of the old generations, let alone carry and pay the price of the misdeeds of the past generations. They can carve their own way, form their own allies, forge strong friendships, stand their ground for their principles, and find their own beloved where their hearts will belong. However, they also need to learn from the older generation and it's the elders' duty to pass their skill and wisdom. Romance is a sweet treat in this show; after every fierce battle and thrilling suspense. Presented in a rather tender, timid at times, but in a right amount of sweetness.

The action and suspense are not the interesting points for me, rather, the interactions and how the cases relate to each other. You might want to ignore the CGI, special effect makeup, and some styling, and bear with it. Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu's performances are what actually keep me glued. This drama is charming in its own way. Perfect and touching ending.
