okay, different people have different understanding. actually it's not bcs of ml scene in ep 1-8 that too little, I do find her friends character, one is a bit weird but aft ep 8 everything is good, another 2 i found their character seem more like background, talking or not it same feeling make me can't feel their whole squad friendship and if all of them is really human, it also make me feel pity for ml too. since school arc is long, probably instead of focus ppl bullying her, i wish they highlight her character more in positive way, when i read the spoiler i find it a pity.

i hve read cnovel where ml scene is not much from the start till the end but it's still well written and have strong influence. even though I'm the person who is watching the drama for both leads story, i find friendship story also good but it's not interesting if only one aside fl@ml is too prominent.

i know this is novel adaption which i didn't read yet (plan to read when the date announced but i don't hve time). i only mean drama version. the plot for ep1-7 is quite problematic and messy. I also know they delete quite a few ml scene, not sure nvr shoot or what. Some character also look like a tool chr, more like background that I found their behavior also seem weird. So I'm surprised what happen? aft fl arc w/ yiyun girl the pace suddenly pick-up and the plot is better and everyone slowly is more like human except fl n sml who is alr prominent from beginning (i love qile no worries).. everyone else... soo idk if it's scriptwriter or editing or director fault. i also read some spoiler which scene, if they take novel like that the beginning of story definitely 100% better. tbh i luv niumai so much that i keep watching but most of the times no matter how i like leads are, if the story didn't give me interest...i will drop easily bcs i watch alot.

how many scriptwriter for this drama? really one person? ep 1-7 is so messy, start improve ep 8 & ep 10-13 (current) is suddenly so good? heck luckily I'm patiently watching for for qiaoxi & qile 😭😭
