Yes... what i like the most in this story (novel) ml fl relationship and their IQ + hardwork although they focus in romance more and their own conflict within their family. However this story indeed focus ML more.
for example first frost, the novel was FL pov but drama adaption, without changing much story they added ML pov which make it balance.
but the scriptwriter for this drama didn't try to enhance the story at all. Although i quite like the story, it's hve a space for improvement.
So if u gotta continue watching, just need to endure i guess T.T their univ life should start ep 14-15 since trailer ep13 they say goodbye to each other already

nah, i hate Tanxu character, he never changed until the end. He's problematic, ml sml hve discuss about the issue abt him. because of her father n family, she drop in study, tanxu help her, she really think tanxu as friend (in China school they can't couple), but just bcs he help her study, they become close friend and tanxu thought they're in relationship, even me felt Tanxu is indeed crazy and self centered...like when they talk about it in early episode at Fu Villa.
I understood, for me her acting not emotionless enough as her character should be devoid of emotions bcs she need to hve clear mind due to her father n grandma, she become less troublemaker child. But indeed the drama so far follow novel closely. Sadly, her background didn't explain much as ML since beginning, her background only show a bit a bit during university era so no one actually understood her...
