not effect at all, actually it's more focus about his conflict with family and identity etc. Sooner or later she realize her mother n his mother character is totally different. less than 2 month interaction (before enter university after receiving gaokao result), even though she know he need study overseas, their feeling can't hide anymore. no worries their story is very very sweet. The conflict is not effect cp relationship much, even have the reason was more because of concern... hard to explain. she's more cooler character while he show more his loving side
