Basically the story is: A and B in love together; C loves A (failed); B worrys of rumors and breaks up with A; A despairs and still got the blame (as accused by B).
The storyline is actually quite simple, so why can't the director skilfully use the limited screentime to explain the whole story? The filming is not bad given it is a mini drama by a small production crew, but sadly this plot is wasted.
Actually the storyline does sort of exist but doesn't really give people much impression - you can tell by some people not even remembering the names of the characters. And yes actually I also can't remember the names and then the drama ended. Basically the story can be concluded in one sentence, and if the director really controls the scenes good enough, a rather complete (but not rich) story can definitely be told even with the time constraints. Unfortunately, this drama is not really well shot.
Besides, the ending is extremely poor. Wtf was the only thing we can say when the drama ended, so incomplete and ridiculous. However, the last few statements made by the one who made a new girlfriend are actually quite meaningful - basically points out why many g couples failed even though both met through ordinary situations (not on apps) - because they don't dare to let others know. So I think the story is actually good and is worth more development but the limited budget and sort of limited time wasted the story. If the six-year part was deleted maybe the screentime can be more well spent on explaining the things in previous scenes. Anyway, this drama won't waste your time even if you watch it, given that there are not many good dramas these days. Also the one wearing blue judo clothes is good-looking so this is not that bad.
The suit theme may be new to Thai BLs (Cutie Pie as well) but the director seems trying too hard to make the actors…
yup suits also appear a lot on cutie pie, but it is not really exactly a suit theme but just because the actors are rich and high-profile management personnel in the company, so basically only this can qualify as a suit theme Thai BL which I think should be the first
And regarding the interesting point - Thai people wearing long-sleeved shirts and jackets despite the weather being extremely hot and humid, many of us who are new to Thailand also find this very interesting and actually confusing as to why they are wearing long-sleeved clothes. Basically this can be called a culture of Thailand too. Some Thai explain that they want the long sleeves to help prevent getting sunburnt and not getting tanned skin (as now Thai teens like lighter skin tones); another reason is although in outdoor it is very hot, when you travel to Thailand and go to those shopping malls, the air-con temperature is maintained as low as possible so it is freezing, and one definitely catches a cold if s/he doesn't get a jacket. Another reason is that there are many more styling options when it comes to long-sleeved clothes, so many Thai actors and actresses wear thick jackets (I even saw some wearing a fur-jacket which is so crazy) and they are often witnessed sweating heavily
So, even when the uke is a world-class tailor, he still can't be anywhere near a sharp object without injuring…
"hard to charactize as anything but spectacular" LMAO for this comment hahahaha
True though, both chapgreen's looks is the reason why people are still holding patience for the future episodes. If the actors' looks were not on this level, I would not even watch the second episode.
This drama is extremely disappointing. Extremely. The show has no common sense, no plot and unnecessary shootings on unimportant scenes. The first 3 episodes basically have no progress to the characters at all, and fail to deliver anything important to the plot.
>> I am sorry, but I have to declare this drama a sheer failure. <<
The only reasons I am still watching are because of the suit theme which is brandnew in Thai BL and because of the two good-looking actors. It is a complete waste of the two actors' talent.
This director has done such a poor job. He also directed another drama in the past, which also received a lot of poor feedback, and at that time I reassured myself that this will not be the same case for this drama, but sadly the same thing happened again.
I really wonder why this director has the courage to put your name in such a large font in the end stressing your presence. Are you worrying that not enough people know who you are so that we will avoid all of your future productions?? What a laughter.
