Hey guys, i know this page has had an abnormal number of antis and especially burner accounts who came just to talk shit. But that's normal for a high profile drama like this one to get so much attention from other dramas and actors fans who see you as a competition even if you dont feel the same way about them. But dont forget that not everyone is going to like every drama out there..for example i click on some accounts here and i personally didnt like / dropped a lot of their highly rated dramas as well even though i dont make a show out of it bc i dont see the point. Not liking something is normal. On the other hand being passionate about not liking something is not. And believe me 2 random anti
comments from ifans on a random website are not going to affect how a drama is doing on reality so let's just be civil lol

It's ok people have different tastes just like how you enjoyed immortal samsara enough to give it a 10 while i personally dropped it at episode 2 😭

Hey giys it's ok if you dont like some random drama among thousands.. what i dont get though is why some of you are wasting so much energy on something you obviously don't enjoy.. most people would just move on with their day.. that's a waste of time

Being on netflix is giving this drama a lot of visibility. Today, i got a message from a friend i met through a different fandom years ago telling me that a new xiao zhan drama dropped and she's watching it on netflix. Ngl that made my day 😭

I have to say this page is very popular among fans of the currently airing dramas 😂 every hour a bunch of them would drop by to say something rude and then go back to their own pages. It feels like a one-sided competition 😭

i think it's important to understand that people have the right to like whatever they like just like you have the right to appreciate the actors you appreciate even if others think they're not all that. people can have different opinions and tastes. you liking those actors is as valid as other watchers liking different actors. so there is no answer to your first question

it just shows that he's filming something.. what that "something" is ? you don't know .. people can make any baseless rumours over that.. I just need to say that being gullible and being a xiao zhan fan don't go hand in hand. If people insist on being obtuse that's another story

i don't think it's necessary to discuss the novel in the drama page since aside from the general setting there will most likely be changes when it comes to characterization, events or even endings and main leads at time. Hence you always have novel fans leaving comments like "this is not my *insert novel name*" or "this is not my *insert character name*" on drama adaptations lol ..

i don't get excited for rumours people with ulterior motive throw on the internet with 0 proof lol. This ain't 2020 anymore.. you'd expect some "fans" to know better though but oh well lol

the untamed has a niche theme that a certain demography on the internet is passionate about. that itself plays a big part for why it had a passionate following.. now xiao zhan doesnt need niche themes with passionate following anymore that will be very loud on line. as you can see from his recent choices in ace troops or where dreams begin he wants to target other demographies of older people who would never watch a drama like the untamed or discuss it passionately on social media. he can't keep catering to the same audience over and over again..

Actually in the past 2 years a lot of movie actors who you think are bigger than just dramas.. went to do just that.. dramas bc of covid lol.. Just recently there have been lockdowns in huge cities like beijing or shanghai.. Heck movies are still being delayed left and right and cinemas in big cities are still closed due to restrictions.. And the ones being aired are underperforming.. So i don't think now is the right time for someone with as much antis as xiao zhan to jump into this mess when movies are lining up since 2019 and hasn't seen the light of day yet.. And once they do show you don't even know how that will work out or how the boxoffice will go.. He has all the time in the world to do whatever he wants to do.. i can give you an example of an idol turned actor who went into flashy movies with big names and big directors (who unfortunately didn't do as well as people thought they would) back in 2016. when the movies flopped he got blamed for it and his acting career hasn't really recovered ever since. I'll give another exaple, in 2019 a popular actress got announced for a drama (nothing but thirty). Her fans made a fuss over not liking the project or the role and the less flashy cast. Later she pulled off and another actress took it.. Well when it aired in 2020 it aired on tv and turned out to be a hit with really good ratings and word of mouth.. Now the new actress who replaced her has dramas with good ratings every year.. And the first actress whose fans didn't think the project was good enough missed the chance.. fans have no idea what is good or not
