My issue with the show and specifically the lead character is how he doesn't put in any effort to learn more about the game and how to win. Why doesn't he google his own death? He knows he's in the same timeline because he saw the sky diving accident on that student's phone. Why is he preoccupied with money, since it's useless if he loses this game.
