I think we should think about the title, and not focusing on the couple: they're doing their best to overcome their slumps, and in the middle of this journey they slowly fall in love. I have strong faith in this plot!
Doctor Slump is going down even on Netflix. During the first few weeks it was #1, now it's #6. Soon it'll drop…
I have a different opinion about this drama. I sincerely like it a lot, expecially because they were able to portray human emotions and flaws in such a realistic way. I won't spoiler anything for those who have not watch it yet, but it's a true comfort drama in my opinion!

No wonder Doctor Slump is already breaking records! This drama is so good, even if it's just started: Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye are superb in their roles!
They should be at ease in their roles, otherwise they're like forced to choose a role they don't like just because they need to work. As Park Hyung Sik told frequently, he likes to choose what he think it's better for him and the roles he wants to try, even just to push himself to the extreme. He wanted to try an historical drama, since Hwarang was years ago, and he didn't like to wear those costumes and the fact he had to sit for a very long time. Now they're trying school uniforms again (and they don't like the idea - PHS already did this in Soundtrack #1): maybe this will be the very last time they'll wear them in a drama!
After the military service, he got roles in Happiness, Soundtrack #1, Our Blooming Youth and now Doctor Slump. Don't forget he's currently travelling for his fan meeting (SIKcret Time)!
Can't wait to see Park Hyung-sik in medical robes 🥰 I'm so happy he's regaininghis self-confidence, he's such an amazing artist (can't describe him as an actor, it won't do him justice) and it breaks my heart to see how underrated he is. Such a lovely human being 💖
