Excuse me. Plenty of actresses at the top of my mind. You don’t have to point fingers just because one of them isn’t my cup of tea. I’m just pointing out the white elephant in the room. It’s a legit comment whether you like it or not

Maybe not her but Ren Min isn’t exactly the best casted FL for the role either. She’s cute in a way but gives out really “trying too hard” “I need to be cute in your face to get your attention” kind of vibe (reminds me of Wu Xuan Yi in Duolo) that clashes with XZ’s mostly nonchalant demeanor. Opposite attracts perhaps but I just don’t feel the explosive chemistry as compared to his other female leads (Li Qin, Yang Zi, or even Elaine Zhong). I love XZ to outer space but I must admit the FL is rather disappointing in this one

Drawn to Xiao Zhan, drawn to the plot/storyline but not impressed with the casting of Zhu Yan. I mean they could’ve picked Wang Chu Ran or the 3rd FL to portray Zhu Yan. I just can’t feel the chemistry between XZ and RM which is such a shame otherwise the drama would’ve been explosive.

Wu Lei looks best next to Lusi in my humble opinion. YY is great and charismatic but just doesn’t vibe as well with Lusi probably due to their difference in image and demeanor. Lusi is playful and cute so she pairs really well with Wu Lei. YY is too cool
