If you're talking about how she faked her personality, she took the advice from her friend to try and be fake, while the ML has been doing nonchalantly. Funnily enough the person who gave that advice was the ML himself so... all the manipulations stems from the ML. ML seems like a very smart and educated and self aware person. I am sure that when he spoke the first sentence into the microphone he would've heard it around him, he did not even flinch as if he forgot the mic was clipped on this shirt. But he continued to embarrass her with multiple sentences in his rejection publicly with full on malice. They are not the same.

I'm more mad he publicly embarrasses her then proceeds to manipulate her even though he tried to come clean once. The lying and the manipulation in ep 12 is also very cunning to win her love... I was so triggered at the part where he took all the books and then buys them and then uses them as bait for her to drive him home while also lying about an injury that she didn't even do... That's like flaunting money and double manipulation and the FL was ok with it lol
The things the ML does to win the FL's heart is very rude, evil and basically flaunting his money and we're all gonna forgive him because he's hawt. ugh. Especially all the lying in this episode
