Beautiful love story! I loved every bit and still go back to my favourite scenes everyday! When they first set eyes on each other there was an instant attraction between them - she knew it and he knew it too but he also saw her as being a weakness for him and he treated her disrespectfully initially because he was scared of her love power over him.

Wonderful all round drama - outstanding supporting cast - the Generals and the Advisor - every episode was peppered with humour and I just bloody loved everything about this excellent drama!

I love this unpredictable fantasy drama. I loved the height difference - the ML was virtually a gentle giant of a man. He wasn't just tall he was big in every way including his hands and was a well proportioned muscular slender man. When he held hands with the FL his hands holding her tiny hands were such an interesting contrast -it kept me fascinated all through this drama series. It was also funny and I laughed lots!

Totally agree with you Jamin. I am Australian and have come to love Asian dramas. Most I love and will leave positive comments that support the cast and the drama itself. For the few ones that I drop - I do not leave any negative comments - I just do not comment because what l do not connect with others really love. I feel it is hurtful to actresses to say they cannot act. If you do not have anything nice to say about a person - then don't say it- is my motto.

Thank you China for bringing her to world fame promoting Chinese culture through the ages! and to all her handsome male leads -thank for contributing and supporting to her rise to be an A List actor around the world with your adoring praise of her. Moonlight Mystique ML lead gets special mention - his chemistry with Bai Lu was off the charts.

Bai Lu plays strong independent women exceptionally well in her dramas and she does act her characters differently. She is outstanding!

For a short mini-series this was one of the best! Excellent 4 hour binge that I have ever had. Short mini-series have their place in the Asian Drama world. Wonderful kissing and romantic scenes through out this drama!

Zhi the FL, fell in love with Jaixu, the ML when she was just 14 years old. After the bully scenes in E4 when she is around 17 years old - Jaixu went into full on brotherly protection mode of his best friend’s sister Zhi. She was 17 when he hugged her to him to comfort Zhi in his relief that she was safe – his eyes during the hug showed his depth of feeling and confusion over how drawn he was to someone 5 years younger than him and also her being a little sister to him This is the turning point I think for Jaixu on questioning himself about his feelings for Zhi. However, they lost contact for a few years, between her going to university and him carving out a career for himself.

This story is such a rich and beautifully crafted drama and it was just this epic romance between Jaixu and Zhi and the special bonus was the sibling relationship which was relatable and hilarious and heartwarming.

I have watched this drama lots – I totally love the storytelling and the acting from the whole cast.
